Bringing lots of cash through airports is risky, here's why

Bringing cash through airport security can be risky.
Lots of people think the risk only pertains to people bringing huge sums of cash through but even amounts as small as $6,000 can get you in hot water.
This is because of something called "civil forfeiture" which allows the government to take your money if they suspect it is linked to illegal activity.
It does not take much for the government to find probable cause and so lots of people run the risk of losing their cash.
What's more, getting your cash back from the government can be very costly and difficult.
So make sure you watch this video if you plan on traveling with large amounts of cash in the future!

Happen to me once and I declared it, was taking payroll back to the Caribbean , and the hassle it is to open a business Acct there we had to take boxes of their currency I told them criminals don't hide money from the irs, I got it back same day and a first class ticket to the Caribbean , don't let these true criminal violate your rights with all these political stunts, suite their ads they need to stop this unlawful act

Cops and Sheriffs pull civil forfeiture on drivers all the time, in fact most CFs are on drivers not flyers. There are 100s of videos on them here on YT.

some foreign countries accept mostly cashes. ATM is limited and not many places accept credit cards either (Southeast Asia countries as example)
