Wendy Snelgrove I learned that certain parts of the Atlantic Ocean can freeze and some doesn’t. In Nova Scotia are ocean-doesn’t because it’s too deep? But in NB because it’s not as deep as well as the straight it’s warmer water. But yes the arctic can freeze I knew that.

Yes the ocean can freeze At least 15 % is covered by sea ice some parts of the year. Ocean water freezes just like freshwater but at a lower temperatures. It freezes at about 28 degrees Fahrenheit, because of the salt.
