As angry as I get about you overcoming my issues painting models in my backlog, I really like your mini tutorials mid video (ie weathering powders) it makes loads of sense to put that in there rather than relying on previous knowledge

haha i can imagine seeing you watching a video and then slamming your first on the table and saying "gosh tootin darn it. thats how i can get mine done - Margaret (or other appropriate name for the other half) pass me my paintbrush, i've got some backlog to paint!"

I didn't start too long ago doing this youtube thing and it's been an awesome journey so far, is really nice chatting with people in the comments - hopefully get to meet some people at future gaming events. But as long as people get something from the videos and enjoy the content - and my sense of humour then hopefully the word will spread :):)

I can certainly add that to my list, not sure when it will fit into the plan - but i will certainly pencil it in - just need some minis for them! The video after Boromir will be a Speed Paint one, in a style like i did for the Warrior of the Dead. I do need to do more speed paint videos! :):)

ah cool idea! You could do a similar method for the robes but then replace the greys with blues instead - but the do the belt highlights with greys instead. What paint range are you using and i can try to provide some colour ideas :)

I don’t have much speed in the painting process. Painting for me is a combination of relaxation und art, so I don’t hurry up. The result is important and the way to it.

@@SwordsandBrushes I have 3 kids , 2 Dogs and 1 wife :D , so I don’t have much time to paint. But when I paint it is very therapeutic to me. Often I paint in the evening/nighthours and when I hear the cicadas in summertime, it feels like heaven :)

Evening and night time hours are my favourite - i'm most awake at that point and ready to paint - even if i already have been painting all day for work anyway haha That summertime hobby idea does sound peaceful though! :)

Ah yes I forgot I had a Pinterest account! Haha Yes I updated my website name last week to swords and brushes. There will be a link in the video description that will take you there. And then if you go into the “shop” tab they are all there and you can download whatever you like from there :) Once I have a bit of time I will do an refresh of the website as I have done a lot since I first created it - so it needs a refresh I think! - so much to do for just one person haha Anyway I hope that they will do you well and you enjoy painting up some more miniatures! :):)
