I've been following your content for months now Becky. Seriously cool cars, great content and you are a stunner. I was lucky to meet James boarding a flight to Dublin during the week, a very sound fella considering he was accosted by a fan on the way through departures! I'm 6ft 1 and he dwarfs me....do not be fooled people, James is both annoyingly tall & handsome! How does he fit in all the cars you guys drive? And the Martini Porsche when i was at middle school in Northampton back in the 80's there was one parked outside a cricket club on a weekly basis. That's stuck in my mind and you have come across one , and later on in life i use to work on them and all the other exotica of that time ....

Always loved this generation of Porsche, always had its very own unique style to it, the oil leaks bits are always a little costly, not bad like anything really nowadays, parts equals labour times 2, you get what you pay for and this fellow does brilliant work, much like the Volvo dealer i worked at in the late 80's early 90's we were not the top selling dealer by any means, we had the highest customer satisfaction rating in Western Canada when i was their, not comparing Porsche to Volvo just quality of care and service, we did service some air cooled Porsches from time to time we had an old German VW tech working for us he was a walking universe of knowledge anything from VW, your buddy Olly did the most amazing job on your wheels, the best i have ever seen, great video Becky 👍

Can’t believe that even the garage that sold you it admitted it needed new tyres and alignment but yet let you have it without doing the simplest of jobs ! Regardless of quality of car ….. back street garage comes to mind !

Well to be fair, I bought the car with the intention of putting new wheels on it straight away. I changed my mind - so I just refurbed these ones. I don’t think that is a fair comment, they are far from a “back street garage” - very negative and unnecessary.

@ Stephen Evens...The tyres where fine if you listened properly he just said they were old.... and to make it perfect needed an alignment. Its a second hand older car. Where does a car dealer draw a line in the sand in fixing stuff? The engine had also been lowered since... stop being a drama queen.

Hey Becky, Paul from Kerry here, have to say from the first video I saw of the Porsche, its absolutely fxxkin stunning!! Its how a Porsche SHOULD look. I'm afraid the only Porsche cars I have are the motorsport 911 RSR and the 911 GT3RS............ and oh yeah...... they're the Lego technic versions!!! And my Aston Martin DB5 is yes, you guessed it, the Lego James Bond version!! 😂😂 big boys and their (smaller) toys!! If ye are ever in north Kerry, he are welcome to call on for a cuppa, I might even let you "drive" the Porsches 😆😆😆 All the best with your channel

Saw the new 007 Film "No Time to Die." There are several Aston Martin DB5 replica stunt cars that you would love to drive (drift). They are DB5 fiberglass bodies on a space frame with drift suspensions, all powered by a BMW E46 M3 engine (straight piped). Of course, every girl needs a sports car with mini-guns in the headlights and bulletproof glass. Loved all the Porsche 928's in the shop. Back in the 1970s-1980s, the 928s was iconic, even thought the terrible engineering was done by Satan himself. HaHa. Next Porsche should be a 911 997.2 Turbo or Carrera 4S, with the big booty....Hopefully there is a special edition worthy of the #QueenB. Don't for get to have the new refurbished wheels ceramic coated. Came out great with the chrome dish and color- matched center. #BritishRacingGreen911.

Hi bex, great video and interesting subject of maybe ditching a modern daily and getting maybe a future or modern classic as a daily? Been thinking the same myself so ive actually after buying an old merc 190e 1988 in arctic white ( allready fitted with old school body kit, looks 👌 btw ) sold my modern daily after offered good money for it...banked the cash and bought a 2006 bmw 320ci simply because ive discovered this year its all about drive, the sound of an engine and being able to get on the spanners myself. I think maybe im feeling this becasus of covid like u mentioned in your video or maybe feeling electric cars are so close to becoming main stream and feel ive just got to have those experiences of cars before were not aloud them or ridulous prices. Be great to see a video on maybe whats everyones idea of "scratch that Itch Car before electric" and what characteristics do there need to be in that car that does it for you!?
