After seeing you do the Luigi trouble it reminded me of a neat detail they added in the remake: if you talk to Bow in Poshley Heights you'll now get a cool remix of the PM64 main theme. Edit: you also (very faintly) hear this when Parakarry delivers Peach’s letter and the map at the beginning of the game.

48:30 I had to stop playing and close the game during the Shadow Queen fight. So I figured out that if you were to return to your last save point after a game over, a pipe shows up right by the entrance of The Palace of Shadow that takes you to the last save block. But Frankly still runs forward. He does not need the pipe.

Apparently for the Bub trouble, you can pick any of the options for the gift for his mom and she'll react the same because she cares more about the letter than the item that goes with it.
