I have a 23 1SS 1LE with 700 miles.... honestly, this car makes no sense! The fact you can buy this thing for $48k, brand new in 2023, during this inflation, is the biggest surprise to me! I too drive it all the time with auto rev match on! Killing my gas mileage, but it's worth it ...... keep the Camaro content coming!

The thing that surprised me the most about my son's 2SS 1LE was the cornering. The second thing was the amazing 10 speed automatic transmission. It was fantastic. Hope you had a great Easter.

Love the car! While you're parked, put it in track, then turn off traction control, then double tap the traction control. You should see an extra menu on your dash that says wet dry sport 1 sport 2 and race. Try those modes. They're amazing!

Mike, regarding the clutch, it is hydraulic which means the feedback force you feel when depressing the clutch pedal is a function of the master cylinder, not the spring force of the pressure plate as on a mechanical clutch system. That's the beauty of hyd clutches, you can have a monster pressure plate, but not need to do leg presses to be able to use it!

Look under the plastic shroud on the drives side to see if you have the performance tag with the engine builders name on it. My 21 SS 1LE 6 speed has the Performance Tag from Bowling Green plant with the guy who built my engine on it. I added the tower strut brace yesterday to mine.

I bought a 23’ 1SS 1LE, basically identical to yours except I have the A10 auto. They are amazing cars for sure! I feel like the handling is just as capable as a corvette in many ways along with the power being similar. I don’t think you can get a better car for the price! Glad you got one for your channel. Mike I have followed your channel for a couple years now and think what you are doing is awesome, I have a 2019 Z06 that I absolutely love, full disclosure, i actually wished I had ordered it to my specs sooner but I kept going onto the configurator and then chickening out thinking what about the C8 what if I liked it better in person because I liked the C7 Z06 better " OVERALL " than the C8 pictures & videos I had scene. When I saw one of the first C8's in person idk call me crazy but I just liked the C7 Z06 more. By this time I had the task of trying to find something that checked most of my boxes from remaining inventory, demo, or used. It took my a few months but I found it. I have been a Corvette fanatic my entire life and when the C7 was released I immediately loved that car the first time I saw it. The C8 has slowly grown on me, I love the C8 Z06 especially w/ the Z07 pkg who doesnt but given that here in Canada to date their is only 23 C8 Z06's and only 2 have had Z07 ....need I continue, lets not even talk about with exposed carbon fibre..... im not a celebrity so my chances are pretty much zero. All that said they are now discontinuing the Camaro and truthfully I always was. a fan of the ZL1 and the 1 LE and owned quite a few Camaros when I was younger , so it really has me looking at my options, My current corvette isnt going anywhere, I am not interested in riding the C8 emotional roller coaster with allocations etc. if they ever get it sorted out I will revisit the idea, I have my own theories that its not all supply chain issues, that results in order restraints but production ??? c'mon there is more to this than we are being told and I will stop there on that. Both the 1LE and the ZL1 Camaros are very capable muscle cars and are alot of fun. I get it , keep doing what your doing I love the content

I agree 💯 percent Chris, I choose the c7 z06 over a c8 myself. I’m so glad I did because the c7 z is refined but yet still has a rawness to it that the c8 will never have. I’m also with you on the so called supply chain issue as well. 🤔 something’s off with all this craziness.

I absolutely agree with you. I said the same thing when I test drove mine. The best car I’ve ever owned. I want to buy it again. 0-60 in 4.0 seconds. The suspension and 6 piston Brembo brakes are top notch

I have a 2021 2ss 1le A10..i thought about getting the 6 speed but after test driving it i was like the heck with that..the 10 speed auto is amazing and i average around 26mpg.

In 5th and 6th gear the valves on the NPP actually close so there’s no drone on the highway. No matter if it’s in track mode. I pulled the fuse on mine 😅

I have the same car on order since October and nothing yet. I don't think it will get built. You are lucky you got yours before they stop making them. GM doesn't seem to like building performance cars and don't really seem to like money anymore either. It's brutal.

Since you said that you're trying to get more miles on the Camaro, maybe it's time for you to "See the Usa in your Chevrolet." Are you old enough to remember that ad on tv? I believe it was sung by Dinah Shore, or it was aired on the Dinah Shore TV show. Of course, the Camaro didn't exist then and for whatever reason, GM never showed a Vette in the commercials. Excellent video as to your surprises Mike. Do you have any plans aesthetic or aero mods? Save the Wave while seeing the USA. 😉😉

This cars rule of measurement is AGAINST THE ENTIRE BMW 3/4 SERIES M CARS, and from all reports so far it literally blows the doors off them for a sporty front engine sports car. Again, ALL Y chassis C8 series Corvettes and ALL Alpha chassis cars including Cadillac can outperform their European rivals by the chassis alone when set up right with the right alignment and tires. To this day it is actually the touring car leader , and Mustangs dont come close to this refinement with chassis handling at the limits. I have heard the magride can sense whether you are on track or not as well, but this car MUST have a good alignment to feel all these things.

Probably it's true, but living in Italy, i see M3 and M4 every day. That's why i'm not so excited about the Camaro stuff. Corvette are totally different beasts, more beautiful, exotic and very unusual where i live. I have loved the Vette for a life...

Hi Mike, this is Howard. We met at Carlise last year with my 14 y.o. son. We recently created a brand new KZbin channel named Father & Son Synergy. The first upload was about my 2023 C8 HTC in February. It was doing quite well with about 200's ish subscribers. Unfortunately, one day about three weeks ago, all the videos were deleted and the channel was gone without the reason. Ever since, I have been so heart broken and stressed out because our account is gone and we don't know what happen, whom to contact, and how to recover it. Do you know a way that I can get our account with all the uploads back? As far as I know, there had been no violation or complaint from KZbin or anyone at all. We did not delete the videos or channel. Why? Everything was just fine until it was gone. Someone had deleted our account completely. That’s actually a tough decision. My mind goes quickly to the Z06 of course but again, it’s so much power that isn’t needed to have fun. It just gets up to speeds that will get you thrown into jail too quickly, but it is super fun and looks the best too.
