template is a bit off, or probably my use of it 🤪 to accommodate the situation of stuff not fitting at step 5, I loosened steps 2 & 4 screws and then did the following: - attached closer body to L bracket & tightened item 10 screws - attached closer arm to P bracket without items 7, 8 & 9 - tightened step 2 & 4 screws - opened door and installed 7,8,9 screws and washers (must be last step to allow tightening center P bracket screw) closer works great! wife is happy! 😁

it’s a good product the only issue I had was the quality of the screws, be careful when you screw them down they can strip fairly easily
