Brinsea Ova-Easy Humidity Pump, watch before you buy

Brinsea has the best incubators, but they definitely need to upgrade their water pumps to a piston type.

I have a Brinsea ocatagon advance and the humidity pump was garbage.

That's a cool incubator. 👍 I also have & hatch chickens and I do hatch them myself but I use a small incubator that only hold up to 11-12 eggs (depending on the egg size). What is your hatch rate? I find with mine I usually get around 50% hatch rate so I get about 4-6 each round but that is enough for me because they are alot to handle..... ❤️

Thanks, my hatch rate is around 80% most of the time but I use a brinsea 56 for my Hatcher and I am putting to many eggs in there and the humidity skyrockets so I am ordering a bigger Hatcher soon.

Do you have many chickens or do U sell most of the hatchlings??

Right now I have just 10 hens and 70 grow outs that are 3 months old and will have about 60 chicks hatch on Christmas that I am keeping. I hope to have 50 hens by July and 100 by 2023. But I am very picky on what hens go in to the flock so it is hard to get the number up

Yeah fair enough! I have had chickens in the past but I sold them all but in the past year, I got 3 hens and 1 roster and I have only 11 chickens so fair but on if my older hen is sitting on eggs so I will hopefully hatch more! 👍
