Do you think the steam train would be okay for a 3 y.o birthday gift?

The steam for sure will be fine, if they have not had a battery train before there is a risk that if they push the train rather than let it go on its own they will break the motor on the engine, so you might be better testing out a more simple battery train first, or opt for one of the mighty action locomotives that have the option to switch to push along as well as battery. Thinking back our oldest would have been 3 and half when we first got a battery train, and took him some time to stop pushing it along. But of you've already covered that, then yes it will be fine, maybe just keep the water pipet empty as you don't want that being picked up and squeezed accidentally squirting water everywhere 😁

Our first reaction when we saw the red engine at launch was similar, but having had it fir a while now its now "as bad" as we first thought. A bigger question for us, is will they do a 3rd colour? And if so what colour would you like to see?

@@BRIOAdventure blue or maybe even purple! Brio hasnt made alot of purple engines and i know its nit realistic but still id like it.
