That mischievous glint when she says, "And I'm Goldilocks" is just perfect. She was quite the showman.

I love how she provides useful information and explanations while she's beating the dough into submission! I just love her! 😂❤

Love the way Julia dives off the top rope with a flying arm-bar to knead the dough. Well almost ☺️

By season 4 Julia had really hit her stride with her humour and entertaining gaffes. Really enjoying these early B&W videotape episodes.

Julia was the opposite of a housewife lol. Her books and show were the primary source of income outside of Paul (her husband) selling artworks and photos.

I don't know why I found this so funny, but when she started beating the shit out of the butter I lost it. I think it would have been quite the experience to cook with her.

@markmiller3713, I lost it too, several times watching her! I think that's why Saturday Night Live featured her as a character on that show. She's lovable because she's so weird, but she knows what she's doing. 😂

It's good) The brioche I made yesterday are very good. However, the one thing is missing in the recipe: the temperature in the fridge for the second rise. I did the first rise perfectly, but then put the dough to the fridge with 10 d.C. It started to slowly rise as it should, but the temp.dropped to 4d.C and the butter in the dough just hardened in the middle of the process. The last hour of the second rise was at the room temperature. I somehow managed to bake the tasty french buns.

So what. She didn't sit in her counting house. She did something with her life. Millions of people learned to cook well because of Julia Child and the French government bestowed on her their highest medal for her contribution to French culture.
