I used the "Don't Despair, Repair" Shampoo, Conditioner and Deep Conditioner and I liked it, my hair lives for protein though. I'm 4a Coarse/High Porosity. I feel this line is great but does not have the qualities 90% of Type 4 are looking for, such as slip, shine and high moisture. It worked for me because I do better with less on my hair.

That's exactly what I was going to say. I need that slip hunny! I couldn't get into it because of that and I love moisture so it just wasn't that impressive to me. Also, I felt the shampoo didn't get my hair squeaky clean, I had to wash my hair so much with the shampoo because it felt super clean.

Thank you sooooo much for this video. I used the charcoal shampoo and the don’t despair repair deep conditioner just before I straightened my hair and hoooooooooneeyyyyy you were right. It is Amaaaazing and essential just before straightening. My hair has been straight, flowy and beautiful for 2 whole months. Thank you soo much for this video!

Thanks for doing this video. I know it's a huge struggle to find products for type 4 because they'll be marketed to all hair types but not really mean it. I have 3b/c hair and I love the don't despair, repair conditioner. I've bought two tubs. I bought the superfood conditioner, but IDK how I feel about it. The curl charisma gel is great and I find a little goes a long way. I've had mine almost all year. There's also a curl custard that they say is for 3b-4c types because it's thicker and in the comments on Sephora's website people with type 4 hair seem to like it better.

omg girl, I love your energy! you are so positive and beautiful! I subscribed after watching your view on the function of beauty, i was using their products when i watched it and i just switched to briogeo! I'm using the apple matcha and kale shampoo and conditioner and the curl charisma creme and gel. I have 3a hair type and I love it so far! I do find it gets frizzier with each day sometimes i have to wet my hair again and put a little more to help tame it between washes. this was a great review, so glad i found your channel!!

I found the Be Gentle Be Kind shampoo very drying on my 3b hair. I think that line is more for straight & wavy hair. I really like the Rosarco line, but it seems like they are discontinuing it. Thanks for this video! I have not tried curl charisma or the new mask yet.
