Honestly, I feel the same. Even the ex-USIA suspects aren’t as sympathetic as these vets. The vets only went after one asshole, the old agents have either gone after innocents or manipulate victims into doing their dirty work, no matter their motives/endgames.

This mission was the single most difficult one to complete on singleplayer. Had to heckin retry like 20 times. In the end had to cheese it with a ton of tear gas and door wedges. Sheeeesh.

Me and my friend spent like an hour trying this mission. We finally got to the last room and that's the only time I didn't check for a grenade on the door. Needless to say, we e ended up having to play it a few more times

I think the hospital is a little harder but this one is def up there, especially for how early it appears in the single player campaign when I first played, made me die many a time.

I just had this revelation: If the idea that the US won the Vietnam War in this universe, do you think that’s a reason why Vietnamese families like the one in *The Ends of the Earth* are seen both in the US and being as financially crippled as they are? I mean, It’d be pretty reasonable for Northern Vietnamese to come to the US after being taken over by the South Vietnamese for more opportunities and a better life, as the mission alludes to.

I wouldn’t put it past them to move the other Communist nations, but if they knew that the East was in tatters after WWII, perhaps some of them would’ve gone to the US from West Germany or the overall state the US was in.
