Brisk Silver Spark Plug Update

A few of you have been asking how the Brisk silver LGS spark plugs were doing. Off the bat, I should say that the car runs just fine with them. Whether it's something you can actually feel is hard to say although the car is very responsive with the combination of these plugs and the ported throttle body. As for real data, it's hard to give exact numbers as we've been tuning the car at the same time but all of our pulls that made more power had the Brisk plugs in there. No knock or spark issues whatsoever related to plugs or ignition and it seems they have been averaging 6hp and 8tq more than convention copper plugs. Also I sent pics and info to Brisk and they said the plugs looked great so far and all markings indicate that they're firing properly and in the correct heat range for what I'm doing. I'm happy with the plugs so far and they're going back in the car.
The part number for these plugs is GOR14LGS and are similar in heat range to a NGK TR6.

I have not tested that or done a comparison but if youre replacing old plugs im sure youll see a difference. How much under normal driving is probably negligible.

What about the .100 gap ?

The spark on the plugs actually moves across the surface of the insulator on its way to the ground strap vs just shooting across the air gap. Therefore the gap distance works a bit different. However I do run the version of the LGS plugs with a tighter gap.

@@c5natie1 I put one in my antique plug tester and the spark went out at 30psi a used black plug at .035 fired at 60psi. I did not scope them or a b test them ,,,yet.

Why not use the dr14ys plug

The LGS design has been proven to make more power on na LS3 engines. Thats why I use them.

@@stevegivelas9769I use the the dr12ys on my boosted Audi. 1.3 bar map. Best I’ve tried so far. Last longer than copper too.
