Correction White mountain peak is 14,246 above sea level. north palisade is 14,242 WMP is 4 feet higher than North palisade. this climb is not for Beginers or novice. this is real Mountain climbing!

Michael...how is your camera mounted ? You obviously are not holding it in your hand.

It is almost always hand held unless it's a long exposure or it's a selfie where you can see both my arms. ;) Sometimes you'll hear my trekking poles clinking/rubbing since they are then being carried in my left hand. I carry my camera in a hip belt pocket.

Did you refresh yourself by adding some of that ice cold snow in your water (I hope ?)

Can't say that I've ever done that, but I typically prefer my water without ice, too. :) I sometimes make snowballs or snow angels.
