The squad head down to Bristol to train and bond as they visit a cider factory, play pool and much more 🌹

Eddie with Blamire at the end. That's the man-to-man value he adds that you hear players wax lyrical about. He's got his flaws but he's human. Good bloke.

God damn Genge is fast... Gotta be a contender for fasted front rower in the world right now surely!?
@symeremeyers41482 жыл бұрын
Sheehan is faster but Genge is quite possibly one of the fastest props
@joeboonmusic40042 жыл бұрын
@@symeremeyers4148 That's true, I'd forgotten about him! Certainly must be one of the fastest props though. Crazy how he kept up with a winger against Wales! You just wouldn't have seen that in rugby 10 years ago.

Good thing is Eddie has branded us underdogs so the players will be fully confident that they can win

His style takes a lot of stick but you can’t deny that even if results don’t quite go England’s way, Eddie is building a set of future leaders that will mean England rugby is well set for years to come

If England played the way they did at 8:02, they might actually win convincingly. It would at least be fun to watch.

I see Radwan is out again!!!! But what a scary back line of daly, youngs and furbank again in the squad my god that’s so underwhelming, slow and blunt!!!!!, other teams must be laughing!! Please please EJ pick the right players that might scare the other teams!!!
@joeboonmusic40042 жыл бұрын
Radwan has too many flaws at the moment, he's just pace and little else. Certainly not test-match ready in my opinion. He gets the headlines because of his pace... More exciting wingers in my opinion are Louis Lynagh and Ollie H-C... Both super intelligent players and powerful, far more so than Radwan. A future pairing of them with Randall, Smith, Slade, Kelly and Steward could be deadly...

@@joeboonmusic4004 agreed 100%. OHC for me has to be in the squad, he's exactly what we lack, pace and power. Malins is great, but he isn't an international winger. Great cover though. Randall, Smith, Nowell, Kelly, Slade, Hassel-Collins, Steward is what I'm hoping for in the summer/autumn. Don't think EJ will give OHC a chance now. Northmore also in with a shout.

@@T_K_W Agree completely. Malins for me is a better version of Daly... Quick, super smart and versatile player that can cover 10, wing and full-back. Definitely hoping for that lineup too... H-C is only 23, I'd be VERY surprised if he didn't get a chance. He's been in the training squad more than any other non-starting winger. I think/hope it's only a matter of time. Totally agree though, he's the specialist winger I think England need, he'd really balance out that backline!
@ph58492 жыл бұрын
I would have Radwan and LHC, I’m just highlighting EJ squad selections, EJ backs selections are ford, daly, youngs furbanks, for me that is so depressing and blunt, we done great players. But never given a chance.
@joeboonmusic40042 жыл бұрын
@@ph5849 Ford I understand, but Furbank to me is just a budget version of Malins. Don't really know why he's still in the training squad. Youngs surely won't be in the squad come 2023 but I guess he's there to impart experience on the younger 9s. Personally I'd love to see a backline of Randall, Smith, Nowell, Kelly, Slade, Ollie H-C and Steward...

Great to see EJ keeping his job. England going backwards with no game plan Brilliant. Lucky to beat an under strength and under par Wales team.

I remember 2003, when we were ready two years out! Rugby World Cup next year and we not ready or a settled team! Plus some very strange selections/decisions from EJ for a while now..he’s had plenty of time to get ready so no excuses.
