The reason why this is so phenomenal is because he was a true artist, very accomplished with his craft, and had his own voice; yet he imparted this selflessly. It’s rare to find someone who is so selfless. Most are busy trying to express themselves or be famous. And as far as teachers go, most of them are not true artists. He was a rare breed.

What a great human being this guy was. Generous and talented. This is the best guitar lesson anyone could ever receive.

We are indeed blessed to be able to see this recording of a man who IMO ranks as one of the greatest ever acoustic guitarists. (And electric, for that matter, his work with Elkie Brooks was amazing) If you were ever fortunate enough to see him in concert, you would know exactly what I mean...

Isaac was so kind to me every time he played The Bell Castle Hedingham and I was part of the support duo; he always listened, praised, gave advice and shared his amazing talent. I learned so much from him that I still use today with my duo Nélice & Malicka

Fortunate enough to be taught guitar at the summer school Guild Hall with Isaac, brilliant artist and clearly very creative and talented. Great approach and very patient, not as easy as it looks : D

This guy was one of the most considerate and brilliant guitarists to grace the british stage - he cared about almost everyone he met - gave them time, consideration and a go on his precious Takamine. he was also brilliant and sweet to listen to.

I knew Isaac in Barcelona in 1971. He had come there with introduction letters from someone in Paris, I think. He was living in hisBedford bus in a nice park in my neighborhood. The introduction letter led him to Keith Patterson, a New Zealander, now Barcelona painter. Keith taught art at the American School; I taught math there. Isaac stuck around for a couple months until he went back to Paris, where Keith had an exposition. Later I saw Isaac in Chicago. He had brought Al Stewart there to buy sound equipment.🎶🎶🎶🎶🕉🙏🔥⛩🕍💒🕌🎆🙏🎶🎶🎶🎶

Victoria I knew Isaac for a few months in 1971 in Barcelona. He was living in his Bedford bus in a park in the neighborhood. He had come from Paris with an introduction letter to Keith Patterson. Keith was a ew Zealand ex-pat painter living in Barcelona. He was a painters’ painter. And Isaac was a musicians’ musician. ThenKeith had a show in Paris. We all went. Next time I saw Isaac was in Chicago. He had brought Al Stewart there to buy sound equipment. Next in London. Grateful Dead concert in Royal Albert Hall, no less!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Fantastic workshop, really good illustration of how much you can get out of being able to find I,IV and V in three different positions. I'll be practicing this weekend!

Isaac stayed with me and my girlfriend in the early 90's. He actually sat on the floor of our living room, with one of my 3 guitars, and showed me what he called "The cool chords" LOL OMG what an honour. Miss U Isaac, you were the BEST!

You mean a Takamine EN20... Or you have been amazingly fortunate and you have his old guitar? Either way I agree it's a great guitar and I bought the same model myself after my jaw dropped on seeing Isaac for the first time. Unforgettable and Best to you.
