Frank from Teaching Machines introduced us to their Wellspring a stereo spring reverb with stereo delays, featuring filtering and modulation within a single unit. He demonstrated its versatility by mixing in the spring and delay effects, highlighting unique capabilities such as cross-delaying feedback and applying bandpass and highpass filters, all in stereo.
The idea for the Wellspring emerged from Frank's desire to streamline the use of spring reverbs and delays, typically constrained by mono signal paths, by delivering a cohesive stereo experience. The springs used in this unit are the largest and longest available, ensuring a more refined audio output.
Designed for producers and studios, this device is already in circulation, retailing for £1,250. The name "Teaching Machines" stemmed from Frank's fascination with a literal teaching machine designed for educational purposes.

Thanks for the lovely comment, we could possibly lend you one if you're really interested. I'm posting this reply twice because something weird happened with it the first time and it seemed to disappear.

Not as much as some other spring reverbs as it has been engineered to sound smooth and organic but yes it does to a degree if you crank up the input.
