To all the US Americans here complaining she is wrong about how US Americans pronounce the brand names: you are 400 millions, how do you know that you are just the few who pronounce them correct? It's more likely that she is right, cause in English the pronunciation of vocals is very different from German.

These people are pathetic. They think they pronounce it right because they can't even hear the difference. There are even people in the comments calling themselves German despite just having a great-great-grandfather coming from Germany (having heritage from somewhere doesn't mean sh*t if you don't know about the culture, language and if you have never been there). These people can't even say the German words right they use in English like Spiel, Doppelgänger, Zeitgeist, Kindergarten and so on and so forth. It's not a problem to mispronounce things wrong if you don't know better. But to tell people that do know better that you pronounce it correctly is peak stupidity. How should they pronounce it correctly if even their alphabet is pronounced differently? People being mad about getting educated by others who know better is a huge red flag for narcissism.

Porsche and Volkswagen are basically the same company. The split at some point and the owners were cousins I think. However in recent years Volkswagen bought its mother company Porsche back and so now they are united again. The history of both is quite interesting. One also has to say that Porsche was actually an Austrian engineer. So yes, a Volkswagen beetle is basically a Porsche. Porsche mainly focuses on motor development. Ferdinand Porsche is by the way the inventor of the Hybrid and the four wheel drive. : )

I find it hilarious how some Americans here in the comment section got absolutely agitated about allegedly wrong USA versions of brand pronunciations. There's more than 340.000.000 people living in USA, in different parts with different local accents. Does it occur to you that she might have heard these specific pronunciations from the people she met so far? That does not mean that absolutely EVERYONE says it like that, but there are people that do. I have myself heard them pronounced by Americans exactly in the way you butthurt people claim "no one pronounces(even some reactors to this same video)", so you are just talking out of your arses. Also some people get so easily offended by a few jokes about USA and misinterpret is as hate. What's wrong about having a bit of piss? I bet these are the same people who during their nights out with the m8's joke about Germans having no sense of humour. 🤦♂️
@raydafuq35703 ай бұрын
Exactly. People don't realize they mispronounce things because their ears aren't trained to the language. An American can say as often as he wants that he can't hear the difference in our pronounciations - we can hear it. Same goes for every language. It's not a secret that Americans are some of the people that pronounce things the worst because they know so little about the world and usually don't care. Even ABC pronounciation varies a lot between countries so it's a no brainer that hings are getting mispronounced. Getting butthurt for getting corrected is such a bad trait.
