😃To me, those two songs don't look alike at all! First of all, BL made an original mix of various styles that make up an ingenious whole. Karja uses one style. BL has lyrics that are far more serious, and its music is far more passionate. Karja's text leaves me indifferent, and BL's text hits the heart, because we have all experienced that fear of growing up and leaving the family. I love Karja, but BL- I love incomparably more! In addition, BL clothing, dance and song are influenced by Croatian folklore and I don't see any similarity there either. Not to mention that BL is much more handsome to me!😄In addition, BL is the author of his song in its entirety.

I LOVE that youre reacting to eurovision now!! This song is everything that makes Eurovision so unique and enjoyable, we get to witness each others cultural expressions and sort of peek into each others national souls. History and contemporary and weird and wounderful. I feel like im getting to know Croatia this way, i LOVED last years entry so much too. Sort of Unhhinged in such a beautiful and entertaining way. Im greatful that Croatia is bringing all this goodness to eurovision!! I wish sweden would dare to bring something like this too some day… were just too predictable 😂😂

There is a lot of politics in voting for the best Eurosong. Croatia has over a million ex-pats all over Europe.I think they are going to be the deciding factor to tip the scales in Marko’s favour. Baby Lasagna entered Dora qualifying competition as a reserve; because someone else dropped out. Real Cinderella story. The song is about young people leaving their home (and immigrating to other countries; 400,000 in 10 years) in search of a better life, and anxiety it creates. Yet, the song is litehearted; the energy unbelievable. It was written, and produced solely by Marko Purišić (Baby Lasagna) in his room in Umag, small town, Croatia. He writes songs (over 200) & books too. First time performing as a singer on a big stage, Marko did great; people of Croatia reacted and gave him the greatest margin of victory ever. Now; the entire nation is behind him. (See; ’Hrvatska plese Rim Tim Tagi Dim’ -KZbin). With big stage and some improvements, it’s a definite leader. Eurovision song, here we come, Rim Tim Tagi Win!

Käärijä did not only come second, he was clear people's favourite over the actual winner (yes, yes, Loreen the winner was much liked by people too, I'm not saying that she wasn't), and so iconic and became such an eurovision legend that people have been speaking about "Käärijä-effect" being seen in Eurovision this year. I'm not sure if I agree, but this song clearly resembles Käärijä. In a good way. Probably my favourite this year.

It does not remind. Totally different song. The rhythm is completely different. Karija is more kitsch. BL uses many different genres. Total difference. Karija did not buy the green paint. Ultra uses that color the most. Therefore, it is not similar either. Kari's sleeves are puffed up, hard. BL down pleated, soft fall. Istrian costume. They have nothing in common. Rhythm, sound completely different. Only similar, but only slightly similar genre. So I don't agree with you. Karija himself said that there is a complete difference and there is no resemblance to him either. If this is what Karija himself says, then people say the opposite. Simply BL is its own. All his songs are different in terms of rhythm and sound, and they are irresistible. This is where you can see that he plays with the sound and that he is the best there. A sound engineer, that says it all why all 3 of his songs are hits. Unique, different, they get into the brain and it's not boring to the point of unconsciousness, and it's been on repeat for 3 months non-stop... Reason enough that Karija and BL have nothing in common.BL❤️🌹🎯🐾😘

No need to get so defensive. I am not saying BL is copying him by any means, but I do see similarites between them, plain and simple. And as you have noticed, it is not only me, other people see it too, so it is there, the resemblance. I think how Käärijä said was that the song has similiar vibe to it, but it is not the same song. And that's what I mean too. They are both drawing inspiration from the same band (Rammstein) and that can be seen in the songs. I have said it in many places already, that I think it is only a good thing that it has a bit similiar feel to it as Käärijä, because I really really like Käärijä, so I would like some other artist that sounds a bit similiar, too. I do think Baby Lasagna has his own style and own credit as an artist. And I don't mean to be like "Yeah Käärijä did this first". To me, it feels a bit like finding a new friend, who is into same kind of things that I am.

And I do get it that it gets frustrating when people keep comparing BL to someone else when he is an incredible artist on his own, but the way I see it is through being a huge Käärijä fan. For me it is always going to be Käärijä first, but Baby Lasagna is my favourite in Eurovision this year. Because his song sounds a bit similiar than something I already love. My opinion, and you may think differently, but I only hope all the best for BL and good luck for Croatia this year in the competition.
