I can't believe you have some empathy for the old Karen who was telling the kids to get out of the tree, and asking for their names and addresses. The tree is on the private property of one of the kid's families. She is trespassing by walking onto the grass. If she was genuinely concerned about their safety, she should have rung the front doorbell, and informed the parent what the kids were doing. They would probably tell her to piss off.

With the lady that wanted to take the cussing kids to court. Had that been me as a kid, I’d be in jail. I cursed like a sailor as a kid, no one batted an eye. Cursing is a part of the normal vocabulary here.

There is no law against swearing. The first amendment protects nearly all speech, even from kids.

I cringed when you tried to make excuses for these women. The "tree" lady was talking crap. First, she should have just walked passed them or waved at them. If she were respectful she would have told them she was afraid for their safety; they could fall and break something. But no, she basically demanded they get off the tree, identify themselves, and tell her who their parents were. She said "she" and the neighborhood didn't want children on the tree. The tree is the property of the house they were staying in.

If a stranger trespassed on my property and tried to dictate what my kid had the right to do I'd be pissed. Let alone demand to know their friends residence, if that was a guy he'd be on a list.

When I was younger, these "Karens" were called nosey bodies, to who we told to mind your business or just walked away and went back later. The woman who says "oh you wanna do the thing?" and breaks out her phone and says, "I'll take a picture of everyone of you." I was the kind of teen that would jump up and start opening my jeans and saying "wait let me make it a memorable picture for you!" I bet she'd put the phone down. Then I'd go home and tell my parents some woman made me drop my pants. I could be a real devious kid when I wanted to be, but for the most part, I was a good kid.

I love these idiots getting caught on camera and exposed for their nonsense. Youre bullying a child? That was criminal! These people need a life. They spend too much time butting into others business.

That get off the tree Karen- that tree is on private property it doesn't below to the street she has no right to tell them to get off the tree nor be on someone else's property. They go there because they feel that they are entitled to dictate to other people since they are the only "legitimate" Americans. City police didn't tell her any such thing.

I'd love to understand the science behind what this is happening these days. Social media ? Just the state of how angry and divided the mass media has made the country? It just so messed up but especially so when it's older women and think it's ok to go after grown ass men ! So crazy.

"Headless" was a good one. Some of these were a little extreme. However, it is the approach that one uses that makes a difference. None of these would have received any help from me. Leave these kids be. =)

LSU Karen is out of her freaking mind. Almost ALL speech in the U.S. is protected by the 1st Amendment. Swearing in public is protected speech as long as that swearing is not directed at someone with the intent to cause an immediate violent response. There are numerous court cases that have upheld this right. We even have the right to cuss out a cop or even the President. I can guarantee you that the cops never told her she could bring one of those kids in. That kid would eventually own everything she has if she put her hands on one of them and tried to take him to the cops. That's what we call kidnapping.

No the tree Karen was not concerned about the children’s safety. She was a Karen who thought she owned a tree that was on private property. The tree did not belong to the street or community, she was sticking her nose where it didn’t belong. Also no child should give their name or any personal information to a stranger regardless of the strangers age. Karen should’ve known it was wrong to ask someone else’s child for this information.
