i actually have a number of family who are or have been police officers. its fulfilling work when you can help people and save lives. on the opposite end you constantly dealing with some of the worst society can throw at you. Not to mention dealing with leadership ready to throw you under the bus.

My father is a retired police officer in america. And he told me one time a guy he arrested spat at him from the back seat of his police cruiser. So he took a plastic bag and placed it over his head so if the guy was to spit at him again, the spit will get on the bag and his own face.

This is why I couldn't be a cop. God bless the good ones. I don't have the patience for this behavior. The old, supposed Christian lady who had to have the last word and acted very unGodly would have been arrested if she kept talking to me after I explicitly told her to stop. Failure to obey. The last one was begging to get snatched out the car by the neck. Nevermind the biting. Instant head punch. This all speaks of a bigger issue. White, Christian women are the most protected demographic in America, and they know it. Sure, there are Karens out there who are not WW (rare), but the ones who are display a certain level of entitlement in their antics that wouldn't be there if that attitude wasn't something that was encouraged and nurtured throughout history. It's not about their age. Young and old have done this. The young "lady" in Central Park who called the cops on a Black man for RIGHTFULLY chastising her about having her damned dog off the leash is a prime example. Regarding the 2nd video, the very drunk Christina Kabat... 1. Tim was her hubby, the ex-mayor (they prefaced that), and 2. "Clearly she's drunk, why do they have to stand there and listen to her, can't they just put her in the back of the car?" Unfortunately no... shes not posing a threat (like the first video) so they have no legality to just manhandle her, THEYd get sued. They used to could, but too many over the years have taken it too far (mostly against darkly complected persons but not exclusively) so now they cant as a law. They cant allow her to go, especially back into the bar, but they cant just grab her. Americans like to blame cops for not doing anything, but its we the people who have hobbled them, and so now we get situations like clip #2.

2:42 you want to tackle someone who is holding a knife? Imagine you got tackled and imagine how easy it is to hit them with the bottom of your first once they have you on the ground. That's how easy it would be for her to stab the person tackling her. A single stab wound can be fatal and in a situation like that, any average person would be able to get off multiple stabs in a very short amount of time. Knives are incredibly dangerous.

Has Tim ever had to bail her out of jail before during when he was Mayor. I think the reason they did not take Christine away sooner; they know who she and is drunk, not being violent to others, no weapons. They have the time to have the lady to go quietly and without incident. They gave the lady many chances to go quietly, but maybe she is known for her drunken problems since they have handled her before. I think why they did not use the taser, she was not in danger of herself and others, she was not trying to escape. Maybe the pain she was experiencing while walking to the car was her choice since she would not walk herself and they had to put an arm under hers to scoot her along to the car. She made it hard for herself. The Muslim racist, I wonder why the police brought the victims out to see the lady. They could have identified her from a far. I wonder to get proof then she said, he said, bring the victim out to her so she can rant about them and maybe spit on them or the policemen. If I was in the position of the victim, I am too sympathetic to have an older lady pleading to me she was sorry. I would give in and say do not arrest her. The victim should have not gone outside to hear her plead for mercy. The lady in the car with her kid... Those police officers could snap the lady legs since she was so thin. Since it was a lady and children in the car, I believe the police officers wanted her to come out without making a scene in front of her kids. They can cuff her outside and not in the view of the children. She did not care for what her children experienced and traumatize and watched their mother to be dragged out of the car, cuffed and she uses foul words. Where was her husband, he should have taken the kids inside the house then the police did not have to handle her gently. I do not know if alcohol made her act this way, three DUI with kids in the car. She has a problem and luckily, she made it home safe all the times she had the kids. Maybe the kids know their mother is a mean drunk and the arrest did not bother them. Maybe they are glad so they can have a peaceful evening with dad. I notice she was not charged trying to hit her husband with the car. I wish the police/courts could do something about bad language that is not needed towards the police. She got only a misdemeanor. I say, since the police have cameras, go back and review the film and count how many times she said a foul word and charge her $100 for each word. For the husband, time for divorce or at least inform the children, never go in the car with mother. Or if they know she is drunk or crazed with angry about something and they have a phone, call 911 to get the police to rescue you. Tell the operator, your mother is drunk and driving and you are afraid for your safety. More times she is pulled over, the more times mother can sober up, learn a lesson, and a longer sentence will help her detox. P.S. Because she was kicking, they taped/cuffed her ankles together. Time to carry a muzzle (for the biters) and gag to keep her quiet.

Wish we'd pass a law making this type of behavior even on its surface a mandatory 3 days in jail, every time. Just straight to tase, jail, city magistrate or circuit judge reviews the body cam footage and 3 nights in a holding cell. No trial, no prison time, no fine, no criminal conviction...its not even a misdemeanor, but a fk-u for acting like an arse...a grownup time out, face the corner. Its pretty standard that whatever the crime, general penalty is applied but I attest that cooperation can make life easier for officers just doing their duty and for rocket scientists like myself, doing some dumb shit on my birthday 6 years ago. I drove my girlfriend's car, after some earlier beers, to the liquor store a few mins before midnight and got pulled over in the parking lot for making an unlawful turn where it wasnt permited from the median. Didn't have my license at that time nor insurance. Told the officer that and I drank prior to my trip, I was feeling all kinds of guilty and dumb so I put it all out. He was disappointed but appreciated the honesty and my calm/shamed demeanor. Took me to the station, he asked his questions, we had a good talk and wound up only holding me a few hours to sober a little before giving me a written warning and a ride home. Told me that being my birthday to use this gift to spend the next year putting more thought into some of my decisions and better myself. Said if I woulda been anything but calm and cooperative my night would have ended differently. I honestly didn't deserve that sort of mercy for what could have been a potential disaster though I'm grateful for his compassion. I've never forgotten that to this day and haven't gotten behind the wheel impaired or done anything disasterously/selfishly impulsive since.

As to the reason why an officer didn't get behind her and tackle her? Well the show cops had a situation like that where a woman with a kitchen knife threatened to stab an officer. When she was distracted an officer did just that...and the knife was buried up to the hilt in her sternum. When he grabbed her the arms instinctively pulled in so they couldn't take the knife away. Unfortunately this also meant as they came down thier combined body weight drove the knife deep in her chest not sure she survived.

What I think people need to understand about America is that it's not a solution driven nation for its own citizens. The money the US spends on other people's business is far more important then providing for it's own. America is the proverbial unfit neglectful parent. You know the ones you hear about on the news who everyone thought was an amazing mom and/or dad but they went out partying every night, took expensive vacations, wore all the top labels, took care of other people's kids and left their own children at home with no food and shredded clothing and then made their kids help package meals and clothing for other kids.
