It was still quite a naive time but comparing what was acceptable on telly back then to what's acceptable today whether on telly or social media our world has gone so far backwards it's ridiculous. Everyone is offended by everything that's said. These shows & answers wouldn't make it on air these days. We're in a dimension that certain topics & words can't be said or are bleeped out. Look at KZbin, the amount of words being bleeped out & not being able to be used shows how backwards our day n age has become where being offended is a full time job

the last one was so infamous, it was believed for many years the tape had been erased and the host Bob Eubanks denied for so long that it ever happened. Until he hosted a bloopers special and they found it. The clip kept getting replayed on future specials because people kept requesting it. Finally on one of them he announced the clip was being officially "retired" and hasn't been replayed since.

From about 5:13 to 7:20, it's Match Game and The Hollywood Squares. There were various versions of these shows with various hosts, and one that combined both games into an hour-long show. What they had in common was a panel of celebrities, mostly known for being funny, and they ended up being as much improvisational comedy shows as game shows. The Newlywed Game, starting at 7:45, also intentionally included humor, usually by setting up newlywed couples to say funny things about their spouses.
