You Brits would be truly amazed, if you knew how many very similar basic words the three very similar Scandinavian languages have compared to their English counterparts - and there are several grammatical similarities as well. So English is actually a fairly easy language to learn for Scandinavians, since we already "know" a simplistic core "Pseudo English" in advance and "just" need to fill in the gaps and climb a few hurdles here and there - for instance the peculiar use of the word "do" and the use of "-ing" with verbs.

Dark nature with montain and rain, it will pop with colours but look in a shop for hike jacket...they are colourful😊

I would pretty much agree with the people in the video about everything, but not that we are all tall and blonde. I am typical in that sense but a lot of swedes are not, they might have light-dark brown hair and brown/green eyes are quite common as well. I would say the danes and finns I've met also are a bit all over the place in that way, and also with quite a few strawberry blondes (rödlätta/rödhåriga). Norweigans and icelandic people I have not met enough to say, but they have been rather similar.

Well, nobody is gonna say everyone looks like that but compared to a lot of other countries it's the majority in all three attributes.

@@Nekotaku_TV Maybe. There are just as many blonde as brownhaired and tall as short, sure probably more blonde than most places, but still it's a mix. Not everyone is like 6 feet here either, but maybe our average is a bit taller in the north. I see a real mix of people, maybe that's more true of big citys. Still, a lot of swedes have dark hair and can also be shorter.

@@GuinevereKnightThere are not as many blonds as brunettes. The stats say all three are the majority here, maybe not all three for one person. Haha yeah that was my point, just because there are a lot doesn't mean it's close to even.

@@Nekotaku_TV Three? As many people with red hair as brown and blonde? It seems a bit more unusal too me, but I am just using my eyes, not looking at stats. That is my point too, the stereotype is not really correct, it's more of a mix. But I think some people like it to be that way and get shocked (at least on YT reaction videos) when reality looks a little different. = )

@@GuinevereKnight Blue eyes, blond, tall. That's three things that are true about Swedes, those are in majority. It's only wrong if someone thinks stereotype means that it's literally everyone that is that way. In general it is true because it's the majority.

It's the same in Sweden, i'd argue it's mostly women who approach men these days (at least in certain parts of Sweden).. 🤷‍♂
