I agree, there is something within and sometimes nurturing as well. I think it is wrong to disguise the killers once they are out, since chances are good they could kill again. So, those responsible for releasing and giving them a new name would also be culpable for any new murders.
@Kno_Buddy7 ай бұрын
In the US at least there are different sentencing standards for adults and children. Under a certain age you get leniency in the belief that you can be rehabilitated and not throw your entire life away, but there is a rare occasion when children can be charged as adults. In cases like this they will be sent to juvenile lock up until their 18th birthday and transferred to an adult prison.

In my state, there was the case of Michael Woodmansee. In 1975, at age 16, he murdered a 5 year old boy from across the street. [Check his story on Wikipedia]. Rather than reveal the gruesome details in open court, the Attorney General and the Defense Attorney agreed to a Guilty plea to 2nd Degree murder with a sentence of 40 years. He was paroled after 28 years but was determined to still be too dangerous to be set free, so his attorneys agreed to confinement in the Forensic Unit at the State Hospital for life. Due to Privacy laws, it is unknown if he is still confined. If he is still there, he will be age 66 in July.

From the time he was a toddler there'd always been something odd about him. But she hadn't told my old friend whom she'd married. He's a total sociopath who's completely deviod of a sense of right and wrong. He'd been abusing both of his half brothers for years before the truth came out. He was judged to be a danger to the general public and was institutionalised. The mum felt so guilty over what happened that she moved out. Leaving him and their boys to live by themselves. Thank goodness his mum and stepdad live fairly close by so they can help. Especially since one of the boys is Autistic.

Who knows what facts and evidence came out in court with those 2 sisters but I do know there was alot of drugs and alcohol and abuse in the house they grew up in by their mom and I think boyfriend. Thats a defense! I know they got 10 years but you only do 2/3 of your sentence then they probably got paroled after doing 1/3. So 4 years makes sense. Then 10yrs - 4 yrs = 6yrs so 6 years suspended sentence meaning while out on parole if they violate they go back to finish the full 10yrs. Thats Canada some states in America too. Otherwise they would have easily got 25 to life most likely paroled after 25 latest for a first offense. I know someone looking at 25 to life up here for 2nd degree murder, parent. He'll be out one day even if hes convicted. No point in trying to understand sentences if you don't know all the facts of the case and what happens at trial.
