Oh man, love the vid. The Jordan Eberle drag goal is iconic because it was his first NHL goal but I will always love the Bobby Ryan one where he dangles around 2 guys with one of them losing his stick.

Regarding playing with your hands, you're only allowed to catch the puck and drop it to yourself right away

Don't Lie To The dude. You're allowed to pass it with your hands in the defensive Zone just not the offensive zone or neutral zone

And also you're not allowed to catch the puck, that would be a penalty for sure. You have to cradle it in your glove and put it down on the ground

A lot of people are amazed by the level of skating, but in Canada, both girls and boys get their first ice skate about age four and you can start playing hockey at age five.

No, you need to see Pavel Datsyuk. IMO he was the best dangles and stickhandling in the NHL when he played. He basically made most of these moves you see today. You should do a video on him if you haven't already. Tons of pple have already

you can use your glove to knock/push the puck, you just cant cover your glove around the puck (hold it), or push it into the net or too another teammate

Nutmeg is not a hockey term. I hear it from so many soccer players and it seems to be a somewhat humiliating move, which I guess it would be in soccer, having a huge ball go between your legs. In hockey you are working with a puck that is three inches in diameter in the fastest game played. There is no shame at all attached to that small bullet going between anyone’s legs. For balance you should do a video on the best saves by goalies.

Yes. In hockey you are allowed to take the puck down with your hand. You can't hold the puck in your hand or pass the puck to the other player.

You're allowed to use your hands but, you are not allowed to close your hand on the puck. You also can't throw the puck. You can swat it, like Spurgeon or you can cradle it down to your own stick but, that's it. Also, once it's touched with a hand either you or the other team must be the first to touch the puck or it will be deemed a hand-pass. The exception being that hand-passes are allowed in your own defensive zone (behind the blue line) It's also not a goal if you intentionally push it into the net with any body part. For example, a kick or swat directly into the net would be called back. However, you are allowed to re-direct the puck with your body as long as you don't impart your own force into the puck via a kicking motion or swatting motion. If you're around the net and it hits you by accident and goes in, it still counts.

It's the greatest sport there is! Football (soccer) would have a shot, but it's too much embellishing, inconsistent refereeing and the stupid penalty kick system with inconsistent calls.

Hockey requires more of it's players at this level, than any other major league sport on the planet. More than just the physical skills required, you have to be thinking 60 miles an hour to keep our head in the game. It takes years of dedication and training to even be considered by an NHL team. This is why it is the greatest game on earth. Go LEAFS!!!!

I'm really confused at how you think hockey is like football which I'm assuming is American for soccer. The big difference in hockey is that any second you can get absolutely killed or somebody is slashing you or trying to fight you which is all legal. Also you say the goal is small but the hockey puck is probably 15 times smaller than a soccer ball which makes sense with the size of the Nets
