I went to Peep Peepa a few times and all I spoke to there were friendly and down to earth working class folks. It was not a scary, tough pub as the video title says but was an old fashioned pub that could have been found in dockland areas around the country 40 or 50 years ago. One night they came back in two cars, there were 9 of them, and they were looking for the lads they'd run into the week before. They made the mistake of going into the pub next door to _my_ local (which might well have been Satan's own pub, I don't know coz I've never been in there) and several of them had to take an ambulance ride home. I seriously reckon the Still Game sketch was realistic, I've been to 100 pubs like this, they're chill

I only met one person the whole time I was in Scotland that I literally could not understand a word they were saying. She was a rough looking attractive lesbian lady working in a fish and chip shop. Literally I felt like I was in the Twilight zone because I didn't catch a single word the whole time. 😳😳😳😬😬😬🤨 I kept looking over at the other guy like are you going to translate?
