Just finished watching the Netflix documentary. And all I can say to this lady is I’m so sorry what happened to you. I really hope you find true love & move on from all this. That part your life needs to be put behind you ❤

NO because even if she didn’t meet Bobby he didn’t respect her enough to introduce his parents to hers AND she keeps saying the community knew him well and her family knew his family from the outside THEN WHY DIDNT SHE MEET ANYONE ELSE FROM HIS COMMUNITY THAT SHE WAS ALSO TALKING TO ONLINE. SHE DID THIS TO HERSELF. She intentionally kept her parents out of the loop and I guarantee they were fighting with her for years over ending it. But what can poor parents do ultimately

I genuinely sympathize with Kirat but I have plenty of questions as well. Like why did she allow to be so invested with someone whom she never met in real life? Why did she ignored the red flags? There are many unrealistic events that went through like being in the witness protection program, being in the hospital, having a baby out of the blue, why in all of this she never insisted on seeing him. And why she never doubted the fact that he always had an excuse for not seeing her? If Bobby was unavailable to have a video call why not do it with those other characters claiming to be Bobby's cousin? Everything was well-orchestrated but there were plenty of loopholes that can make you realize that something was totally wrong.

Thank you for sharing this story and for encouraging other women to speak out. Speaking out dosent happen often in the Asian community and I feel it needs to be normalised. I hope this helps or encourages other women. I’m sorry this happened, you are clearly a loyal and caring person who was manipulated by someone who is not. Kudos to you for raising awareness and for being strong whilst doing so. Thank you

She took it for granted that he was drunk and spaced out. Nobody is that drunk and spaced out to not recognize people they met before. Didn’t she think she should have asked him to leave that loud area and come out to meet her? Then at least her doubts would be clear and saved her 9 years.

I wonder if she would have kept going on with this relationship if he was not handsome and successful? So many questions that the interviewers skirt around and does not ask her. While I feel sorry for her, she did play a major role in this. She let her ex-real boyfriend and bobby treat her badly. I don't buy it that she stuck it out due to loyalty. I hope she gets therapy to figure out why she has no boundaries.

Is there no one in this woman's life, not ONE person who could have told her how sharing this story would reflect on her???? 🤦🏻♀️ People treat you how you allow them to treat you. As adults, we have to take accountability for the situations we put ourselves in. She stuck around for 18 yrs with the previous guy who would disappear and then pop back in to her life, she kept taking him back. Then this guy who she never even met. Have some self respect and adress your desperation issues 🤦🏻♀️

Simran is a controlling sociopath. A narcissistic WANTS the victim to be blamed and they feed on this. Kirat was clearly vulnerable at the time and Simran targeted her like an animals targets weak prey. Simran is at fault 100%

@@H13-x2u you haven't heard Simrans side of the story yet. Also Kirat was a grown adult that made poor choices. She has to take some responsibility and put her hands up where she could have done something different. No one forced her to continue this online relationship. She chose not to walk away

@@Sizzle_Bear you cleary don't understand what being in a narcissistic relationship is like many others. Many people in real life relationships refuse to leave abusive and controlling partners in real life btw (not online) because of the high level of emotional manipulation involved to the point some people die from violence or commit suicide. These people target are vulnerable people and Kirat was clearly vulnerable.

@@H13-x2u she never was in a relationship. It was just an online fantasy. They didn't hold hands or even get intimate in person other than cyber flirting.
