I love the character of Marlene as she was pretty much the epitome of the tart with a heart. She had been around the track a few times, but at her very center, she was a good, caring person. I love that moment at Rodney and Cassandra's wedding reception where Del Boy opens up to her about the sacrifices he made for his baby brother, and you just know that if he had to he'd make them again. I just love how Marlene listens to him and sympathizes with how it had affected his love life, but Del Boy never felt any resentment toward Rodney. She was a good friend to her former lover.
