Glad to see people still shoot marbles. I'm 67 now but growing up in my neighborhood all the young boys shot marbles and I was the best. I literally won "all the marbles" and shut down the game. Moms stopped buying their kids marbles because I always won them all. Nice to see.

Just go national. It will humble you. This goes for literally everything. "I was the best in my small town at this one thing until I went national" is the plot to many shows and movies.

its so wild that I don't see any diff launch techniques. In hawaii, peeps all have their own little tech. Like the standard thumb flick, you also get stuff like the overhand middle finger or other two handed techniques. Playing marbles as a kid was so much fun and being part of innovating made it all that much more fun!

Idk about their rules but where I grew up playing any shot that wasn’t shot like the way they’re shooting was a foul shot, I’m not sure what the method is called but I know it’s a universal way of shooting a marble..
