Like they say, you have to turn it OFF for takeoff and landing. You can have it in flight safe mode when the seatbelt sign is off. Great video! I went through T5 for the first time last year - it's pretty impressive!

I remember flying British Airways from London Heathrow to Manchester in 2016 when I was 5 years old but I didn't remember what the aircraft looked like before it was flying to Manchester because I was flying from Bangkok to London Heathrow so I had to wait for a British Airways flight to Manchester at Terminal 5 but nice video

Yeah, that's probably why, here in the USA, they have flights from Baltimore to Philadelphia, Colorado Springs to Denver, San Diego to Los Angeles, etc (BWI-PHL, COS-DEN, SAN-LAX) when each city pair is about a two hour drive away I think; well, maybe there's connection options at the larger airport, and the smaller airport may just be easier for some people to get to.

That wasn't what my flight experience was like, that may have been yours and your opinion, but I rather enjoyed my flight with British Airways, it was the first time using that service after 4 times with Virgin Atlantic!

Great video Rw27R @ LHR to Rw23R @ MAN. Never known an airtime of 55 minutes between these two airports, even back in the B752 Super Shuttle days. Average airtime I reckon is about 30 - 35 minutes and height-wise flights barely make FL210 before entering descent. Really encouraging to see busy AVP @ MAN too, although they know me in the TAS shop as 'Captain Cowell' (NO relation LOL!) :o)

Probably congestion at Heathrow 30mins flight can easily end up 1.hr 15mins.

I've taken this flight (BA1390 often. It's usually quite quick (35 minutes of flying) but the taxiing (and waiting on the ground) at the airports takes longer than the actual flight sometimes.

Okay.. and? I flew to Manchester because I love flying & aviation. People question BA's Domestic services when there's a simple explanation, connections! Perfect example, the couple behind us were flying in from Australia. So it'd make sense to get on a short flight straight after arriving rather than collect bags, immigration, couple of trains or cars.

Yeah mate tell me about it ha, luckily on my newer cam I can manual focus so if it's raining on my Arrival into LHR on Tuesday Morn I'll remember to keep it in manual so no rain messed up my shots! Flying UA 772 LAX-LHR so look out for the Full Flight video with ATC next week!

Yeah times on Airlines websites are Block to Block - the time from engine start on the ground to shutting down the engines at the Dest. It isn't all Airbrone time.

K. I googled earthed it, and the journy driving would take about four hrs, and burn through half a tank of gas. Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to drive. Have to arrive @ the airport @ least an hour before take off, the time it takes to the airport, then getting into london once @ heathrow. Is it worth it?

This was good camera, however now it's pretty outdated. It had literally no manual modes over Video unfortunately. However the camera I got after did, so I always manual focus on filming flights. My next bit of equipment will allow me to change every aspect of the shot, which is exciting!

@LudeSpeed77 Just bring a book/iPod/something similar, get on the plane, sit back and chill for 1 hour then get off when the doors open! Absolutely nothing to worry about. Anything that happens will happen everyday on every flight! Have a great trip! ;)

With no delays it takes 35 Minutes sometimes less Airborne time. This isn't literally the full Flight. By Full Flight I mean it includes Takeoff and Landing rather than splitting up the video into parts.

What passengers want is just a decent flight. On a British Airways flight from South Africa to London in cheapest class its rough. The issue of selfish tilting of the tight backs is not dealt with by a simple rule of either agreement with the passenger behind or by a setting it at lights off time. Staff are unfriendly, the food is too basic. You cannot get online to book a seat as promised. All in all you are forced to upgrade. Not surprising that their own site has comments disabled.

Then name them... They had ONE crash recently. BA38 in Heathrow in 2008. But that was because of a design flaw by Rolls Royce (the manufacturer of the engines), it could had happen on any B777 on any airline. BA is one of the safest airlines in the entire world! They have only had one accident with fatalities, and that was BA476 in 1976, and that was because of an ATC error
