Great video. The A320 is a favourite of mine. Love the way you captured everything from the gate to getting airborne. Fantastic view of all the terminals and the great fleet of BA aircraft.

Lol, this is a DSLR video. It was filmed with a 50mm prime on a crop sensor, that means effectively around 80mm. With no IS on the lens, it's impossible to get less shaky footage on that setup. The blur was caused by the ONLY way you can film clearly during night/early conditions, that is with high aperture. In this case 1.4, which is what the lens is rated for at the maximum.

that is PTU noise sounding as the gear retracts as the retraction uses hydraulic pressure, i think, so the PTU keeps the pressure up and makes that noise. Its the same noise made when the first engine is started.

Don't have the charts on me, but guess it's BPK ( Brookmans Park) or CLN (Clacton) SID.

What are those wining sounds at 3:55? Are they the hydraulics?
@DSAviation111 жыл бұрын
Right after they takeoff you realize how large heathrow actually is, 1 minute into the flight and they still aren't passed the terminals. ( Approx. )

Lufthansa may have good service but the fleet age on short haul aircraft is totally unacceptable for a mainstream European airline. Actually, BA's 734's are quite old too. But over all, BA is the best.

The one thing I dont like about BA is the crew try to sound "posh" ... they always try to use big fancy words in their PA's.. like the purser on this flight who says the safety video will be played on screens that will retract shortly, i think he means they will "drop" or "descent" , they will then retract after the video has played. And how many times can he use the word respectfully in one PA?

its the Hydraulics
@richygambs32112 жыл бұрын
My god i always hate how the safety announcement has to be played during engine start. For the aviation enthusiast, it ruins the start up sound. Only on one flight have i been on when it was played before engine start.

you shouldn't use any electronic devices during taxi, takeoff or landing
