Yep. Death swung his scythe, and missed. Decided it was just not his time, and went to the next name on his list. He played “dumb” when Billy and Mandy asked about it later that day🤨🤗 (Cartoon Network cartoon reference). Gonna go behind his house and work on his swing on some bushes later……….they need to be trimmed anyways.

I think the whole crew are heroes. If any one of them had not played their role, either the plane would have crashed or the captain would have died. I can't imagine how that co-pilot felt having to take control and land that plane under that much pressure. If he was not the beast of a pilot he was, he would have panicked or made mistakes that would have ended things differently. This survival story is the most extraordinary ever, seconded only by the Aloha flight that lost it's roof.

My Mom got to see that plane tucked into a far corner of the airport. The tarp thrown over it did not do a good job hiding the fact that a chunk of the roof was missing!

The Co-pilot deserved a raised and promotion after that flight. Plus paid vacation. I can understand why he did want to do an interview for this special. Probably a very traumatic memory for him, he probably does not want to relive it. Also, crying upon landing safely is understandable given the amount of adrenalin cursing thru his body. Does not make him less of a man in my book. The co-pilot and flight attendants were amazing. The captain has an amazing guardian Angel and exceedingly brave to keep flying upon recovering. Probably checks the windscreens thoroughly every damn time though………..
@kathyjones15762 жыл бұрын
I agree with all you said. Every crew member on that flight is a hero. It's surprising the copilot was able to keep such a clear head. It shows he has a good head on his shoulders anyway, to be able to get through this and save all those people. And then he had to land in an unfamiliar airport. The man has a lot of guts.

This cold open was so chaotic. Like I just needed to know how this man got sucked out of a window and how three flight attendants ended up clinging to him so he didn’t take down the plane. Crazy shit and I’m glad he survived

Amazing video. I Totally concur with the previous positive comments. To me the basic problem was that the windows were designed to be affixed from the outside of the plane and not from the inside. So the air pressure was always pushing against the windows which were held in place by only the bolts and not the plane's airframe. I've watched so many of these KZbin videos on this subject where the maintenance of the aircraft is many times at fault for the accident. One question unanswered in this video is were there any consequences for the mechanic who did the job ?

All for the sake of a few screws. And now they're talking about putting planes in the air with only one pilot. The very idea is utterly insane. Pilots could have a heart attack or a stroke, anything could happen.

They have the rights. It's not illegal. Honestly, I just want to be able to find the most of these on a single channel because it's getting really difficult to tell which I haven't already seen. But On the Move actually seems to have more of the Mayday episodes now than the Mayday channel or Wonder Channel. So I'm sticking with On the Move for now!

More greed, individuals and companies putting profits ahead of people, which always results in the hurting of people. How pathetically sad that so many people still think money is what life is about. But God's holy word makes it very clear that "the love of money is the root of all evil," which we clearly see in our sinful world today.
