Flight from Gatwick to Mauritius. Delayed by hours due to technical fault. Nearly cancelled. Ended up taking off at 1 in the morning. They woke me up at 2 for dinner service. The whole thing lacked a brain cell of thought. Seriously, who,after being delayed for 4 hours wants to eat dinner at 2 in the morning. Anyway landed 3.5 delayed. Was nice descent and landing. The delay meant that it was a daytime flight for a good portion. What helped was that it was on my favourite aircraft.
