I'm an ex sapper and it's known the world over that British Army training is among or probably the best on this planet! My instructors were awesome, even now after being out 26 years I can still remember it and be deployed instantly! Hopefully the Falklands again as I just missed the first conflict, well training exercise more like to be bluntly honest! Come on Argentina what are you thinking? He probably is a Corporal posted into the training regiment to do the physical training for the recruits. Usually after two years he will be posted back to his unit to continue with his trade, but the good ones move back to the Gym in the unit to carry out Regiment physical training for everyone. The rare ones then attempt the Army Physical Training Corps, after completion they get promoted to Sergeant, then can post to any Army unit to organise and run physical training for the unit.
