I went AC glencorse. We didnt even get told our grades? Ah, well. Few lads had really long hair and long beards etc. Started with 32 only 10 on the coach home.

Hi m8, I'm old enough to apply for afc Harrogate on 19th February, can't wait, was at the open day few weeks ago and loved it, when I go to the assessment centre does everything still apply to me as it does for the lads going to the full time roles

What did you get on the bleep test? And do you have any tips as a whole? I’ve got mine at Pirbright this week!
@bennyg41014 ай бұрын
@@CroydonLion I got 9.1 but I’m going for Air Corps so I only needed 5.8. And my tips are literally, be respectful, always address them staff and not mate etc. Make an effort to be involved and show willingness etc. Just make the best possible effort. Oh and make sure you do research on Phase 1 training. And also your phase 2 (Trade training) as they will ask you this in your interview. Also the army’s Values and standards make sure you know them before you go to assessment. Best of luck. Let me know how you got on. Need anymore advice I’m here buddy

@@bennyg4101 wow, thank you so much for taking the time to provide the info. Really appreciate you. Really nervous because I’ve wanted this for years! Only one other question if possible, what are the team exercises like? Any tips? Thanks again mate
@bennyg41014 ай бұрын
@@CroydonLion so I went to Lichfield for my AC, the team exercises we did there was sort of like an obstacle course and you had to have team work so overcome it without touching the floor, it’s hard to explain. But when you do it make sure you get involved and put your point across to your team, make sure you’re heard and that you also listen to people, the assessor will mark you on the way you communicate and how much of a team player you are

Thanks mate I’m looking at Royal Artillery myself. At my initial interview they told me to aim higher as I’ve got the qualities, not sure what to do as I don’t want to look like I’m not ambitious but I really want royal artillery as my choice
@CombatReadyHQ2 ай бұрын
Hey mate I’ve done plenty of videos on this saying choose the role that best suits you and what you want to do not what they say or think is good just because it’s a particular trade, I was FST within royal artillery which is very technical and a brilliant job working in observation posts and on the frontline with infantry. Do what you want to do and think you will enjoy and have a successful career in

Hello Craig, when they send you the Army cognitive test (screener) in your portal, is it okay if you take like a week before doing it because i'm practicing some online ones first so i can hopefully get the best grade for when i do the screener God Willing , which they sent into my Army portal for me to do a couple days ago... i know that the Army cognitive test (verifier) is the most important one though but i still want to do great on the screener as well 🙏🏼
