Hi new subscriber here.. Nobody gives the original softie suit the credit it's due. I've personally removed my sleeping bag from my bug out bag ,replacing it with the softie suit plus the buffalo systems special 6 suit and dutch army hooped bivvy bag . In the UK YOU'LL NEVER NEED ANYTHING ELSE THANKS . .

Another great video. Love the new suit, Stuart. But at the rapid rate you're losing weight, you may have to buy a large soon, as that one will swallow you up. I usually wear a wind suit, polyester on the outside, cotton on the inside. It's plenty to keep me warm in the mild South Carolina winters. If I went to Scotland, I'd probably freeze to death. :0

By the way, glad you're doing more videos for us. It's much appreciated. I know you don't do videos for money, but you should really set up a Patreon account so people who appreciate your videos can contribute to repay you for your time. You don't have to broadcast it, so you don't feel you're asking for money. Just post a link to a Patreon account and those who want to contribute for your time can do so. It's at least something to think about.

I got small size trousers and they fit ok , i think there oversized because the soldiers are to wear them over their normal combat gear. Not as light or warm as down but ALOT cheaper. The softies are great.

We don't have army and navy store in Dundee but would be keen to buy some kit. Have looked on line but mostly down Englandshire. Any info would be grateful

Where can you buy these? E bay?
@vlogcentral93035 жыл бұрын
Pen Man good morning you can purchase the jackets and bottoms online certainly eBay you want to look at MOD Army surplus stores as these are MOD issued but get sold on when no longer needed so your best bet is eBay for sure or google if you have any army surplus stores near you and call in to them nine times out of 10 most surplus stores will stock these. I picked ny jacket up the exact same one from my local surplus store had never actually been used still in stuff sack for £20 absolute bargain :-)
