Sukhoi 30 mki ( Russian origin) Rafale ( France origin) Mirage 2000 ( France origin) Tejas ( Indian origin) Mig 29 upg ( Russian origin) Jaguar ( Anglo France origin) Mig 21 ( Russian origin) Tejas will replace all the older fighters of MIG 21 of lighter weight catagory for Air defence role. 200+ LCA Tejas are ordered. MRFA program will replace all mig 29 upg, Mirage 2000 and Jaguars in phases. In medium catagory. Rafale has High probabilities. Sukhoi will remain backbone of Indian airforce for another 3 decades. Fifth generation fighter jets program already in process.

In 2019 using this old mig 21 3rd generation fighter jet Indian pilot was able to shot down a much advanced F-16 (made in USA) which was used by Pakistan. They may be old but these fighter jets are tried ans trusted by IAF

IAF uses C 130 Globe master as well some Airbus cargo planes. Apache, Chinook and Russian helicopters and now Indian built Prachand.

I agree with you on how the scope of this documentary could have been widened to accommodate the Helicopters, transport, AEWCS etc. In fact, with unfriendly neighbours across mountainous forested terrains and a vast desert has made the Indian air force rely on helicopters much. French Alouettes (license built), Chinooks and several new Indian builds like Prachand and Rudra have also been quite useful. I believe that AIF operates Soviet and American giants like IL-76, IL-78, C-17 Globemaster which were instrumental in matching Chinese deployments (including tank regiments) at LAC recently in record time.

During my college day I have seen Tejas & it test flight. My college was near Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL). It is so loud that even the car alarm started to blare in land, when it passed by to my college area.

I think India will dominate in missiles because they can build them them selves quickly and make up in the shortage of fighter jets compared to China. It takes to long to get the required fighters and you dont want to keep buying them

Most fighter are russian origin but different from others which russia export i.e Indias russian origin aircraft are equipped with french, israel, American and indian radar and weapon guided system which makes it superior than others russian fighters operating around the world . And brahmos is the faster supersonic missile in the world in its category jointly developed by russia and india. 😊 Indian airforce is a mixture of russian hardware with Western technology 🔥🔥🔥

being ( civilian ) pilot myself I would say Indian air force ( from articles and news reports ) can 'surprise' any air-force in the world this was the word ( surprise) used by U.S. airforce pilots after a friendly war game exercise in U.S. in wich Indian Mig-21's and I think Mig-23"s went up against American. F-16s and F-22 s

I like most of your videos, but I do have a comment that I need to address to you. If you talking about the dynamic and powerful Airforce or Navy in the world, that would be U.S, Russia and China. India is way behind Japan, S. Korea, U.K and French. Why I said that India bought all kinds of fighters from Russia and French soon U.S. How are they going to maintain their fighters' jets. Second, if you looked at their two aircraft carrier last year without fighter jets on deck. What happen was the plane that they have didn't fit on their aircraft so French have to special make fighters jets to fit their aircraft carrier. Overall, they have major problems......they are decades behind the major players.

India is a net donor of aid and has given $2.3 Billion of aid per year to other poor nations in the world. Apart from over $30 Billion per year given to other countries as Line of Credits. And other stuff like Currency Swaps is separate. India had to enact the FCRA law to prevent the inflow of this unwanted "UK Aid to India". No Indian wants this aid. And seems like no UK common citizen wants it either. So why is UK government sending all this money disguised as "Aid" into India? Which British companies stand to gain from all the contracts that this money is meant to lobby in support of?
