I fish here all the time and imma give everyone reading this a secret at the other side of the lake there is a place where a small river connects to the lake and you will see foam in the river u want to land on the beach there and you want to cast right infront of the foam that is where all the fish come to feed from around 8 am to till 11 and from 5 to 10 pm. That is when most fish go you will get a bite every I would say 2 casts and make sure to use garlic or corn scents

i also moved here from sask was going to start fishing wasnt sure what lakes to try, sure miss fishing rafferty but ill find a hole here to chill at this summer

Try fishing till lake bc it’s very good trout fishing mostly rainbow but they get up to 7 lbs is my best in that lake

Those "cutthroat" look like cutbow since they have that pink lateral stripe like a rainbow. Any chance that's what they are?

They are cutthroat trout, specifically coastal cutthroat trout that were once stocked in the lake by the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC.
