Watched all the vlogs with your Dad he is a very easy going, kind and humble man. You're blessed with a father like him Ryan! I am never good with goodbye's and his departure from the farm made me feel like I was saying goodbye myself. Last time I had this feeling was when my wife and me had to say goodbye to my mother in law at the Ubon Ratchatani airport, still makes me sad to this day thinking about it because we had such a great time together. Hope to see your Dad back at the farm next year!

I love to see Damo and step dad cooking and teaching him things. They work good together and have a good relationship. It’s sweet. Also the relationship between Otis and his grandad so cute. It's sad to see him go, I honestly enjoyed watching videos of your dad trying to learn things, though I expected to see more of him but it's ok. Both your parents are nice but I like your dad more because he seems like a humble, simple and nice person, wat I like about him most is like what damo said, he doesn't wait for others to work and serve him or wait and watch others do the task, he contributes and help, it's rare quality in someone who lives a life of luxury like fully automatic kitchen, nothing is manual in England. He should visit again in winter. Ryan you met him and got to spend time with him after a long time, you must be missing him and damo was the best daughter in-law

What a wonderful series and a beautiful family. I’ve been to Thailand 30 times since 2005 and have visited many mountain villages, orphanages and refugee camps along the Thai/Burma border. I am caring for my mother with Alzheimers now but look forward to returning for longer stays in the future. If you have a guest house for rent, I would love to visit your community during my trip.

@lifeinruralthailand A really nice vlog to end Mick's holiday with his Thailand family. Listening to Damo speak about her father-in-law was so beautiful, they obviously have a genuine love for each other. Those comments bought a tear to my eye, thinking about what isn't there with what remains of my family. It also gives me hope and longing to be in Thailand in the near future with my beautiful Thai ladyfriend, who's maybe quite similar to Damo, and her family, who together, are very close.

เสียดายต้นไม้ใหญ่ๆตัดหมดเลย อีสานค่อนข้างแห้งแล้งยิ่งไม่ควรตัดออก เพราะความชื่นในดินจะหมดไป ทางภาคเหนือต้นไม้ใหญ่ๆเขาจะรักษาไว้จึงค่อนข้างร่มรื่นกว่าค่ะ😢มองเห็นภาพแล้วเสียดายมากกกว่าจะโตแต่ละต้นใช้เวลานาน
