Thank you so much for up loading these wonderful old songs. Reminds me so much of my lovely dad who so enjoyed this music and was often found Dancing round his kitchen whistling and singing along to these gentle ballads. Very fond memories. 😊🌠📻

I Have the Ambrose Record of this Sultry Song! I LOVE THIS AS WELL! Piccadilly records are AWESOME!

The Ambrose recording is wonderful; the best in my view.

The Julius Kantrovitch side is very interesting... if I remember correctly he led a cinema pit orchestra in outer London and also made a few dance records for Piccadilly. There are a number of brilliant recordings by these lesser-known Piccadilly bands from late 1929 and early 1930 - many seem to only have been under contract for one or two sessions.
