British bands from the early thirties are a joy to hear all these years later! Thanks for sharing this sparkling set of different top bands to enjoy and compare. I love the "on the spot" recordings which capture the ambience of their live sounds, just as those lucky patrons heard and enjoyed them at the time! Flat American studio recordings can't compare!

Can't stop playing this. On a rainy day with Pride due to start in the pouring rain in Brighton and I play this and marvel at the quality of the music and adore looking at those photos. Such handsome people! Thank you so much.
