Great effort, esp last stage. The brown Side looked tricky, and massive speed increase when you hit the trial side. We headed over to Newtonmore from our home in Aberdeenshire on Friday in our van and wild camped, I had big plans for a day at Laggan then saw on FB there was enduro on😅… change of plan… found some great trails on hill just above Newtonmore and Nevis range forest on Sunday, drove past you lot on Saturday 😂

Smallish hill called Creag bheag - I climbed up rocky staircase on NE side and down SW off summit on well made path, a few interesting bits . This was after mellow trail along loch gynack (blue on Trailforks). You might like the steep rock steps on NW side I climbed

Sorry 😮! The hill was just above (north) of Kingussie, 487m , above golf course!! There is a hill with same name above Newtonmore too 😂 why do they do that !!?. I started off the ride Newtonmore….

I’d choose the trail bike again if I was given the choice. I think an e-bike may have made things a bit more difficult in many places tbh.

I honestly don’t think the e-bike would have been any advantage at this race. Maybe stage 2 and 4, but overall the regular bike would be my choice.
