I would recommend you mark that spot where you found the girls purse and take those belongings to the local police department. The person could be a homicide victim, or a victim of some other crime. I'm sure, if something terrible happened to that girl, her family would want to know! So do the right thing and take the stuff to the police!

At 16:29 it appears to be a "shot record" which all US servicemen were issued. . In my case, the 1970s. Mine is also yellow and is laid out similarly. In English, the title on the front of mine is "International Certificates of Vaccination as approved by the World Health Organization". I'm not saying yours is connected with the military, but it was in my case.

It wasn’t destroyed, it had been removed as part of track maintenance. As an ex tanker I know this is a regular process. If it had been destroyed, the track pins would still have been in place and damage at both ends. These links were also used for extra armour on the turret and hull so may have fell off. Great find though 👍

beginning in the 1900s, people in america become focused on the Zodiac signs as another way to pray to gods through the wartime(s). If her birthday is April 16, she would be an Aries, if you look closely at the token it appears to be a ram turning its head (see the curved horns). I wonder if it was a necklace pendant or just token that was intended to be protection. Thought that was really interesting!
