My brother is now 73 and has been collecting German and Prussian badges, uniforms, guns, mortar launchers, grenades, machine guns since he was 12. He has a museum that will be opened to the public after he dies. Most of the items he collected were in mint condition and were sold to him from people from your country and countries around Germany. He has over 40 helmets including the early Prussian ones with the spike and camouflaged ones, all types. Knives, daggers, swords, bayonets, boots, kit bags, everything and anything. I don't understand how badly rusted badges are good finds when I've seen beautiful examples bought from families of soldiers so you know the items aren't repos. The items have the history and the provenance behind them including photos of the men in uniform with their families.

Very well done, great finds especially the purification tablets, the one still sealed and the glass morphine container full. I got really lucky at a few auctions, bought a complete panzer uniform, GROSSDEUTCHLAND, with decorations,low boots, M43 cap, headset, necktie and shirt ( mouse gray). Then I won a complete Lance cpl GROSSDEUTCHLAND INF.REGT M40 uniform with the marching boots. My DAK collection, a reconnaissance private shirt with pith helmet and short pants olive green, a fallschirmjager camouflage smock type ll, m38 helmet in ordnance tan very worn paint. DAK Luftwaffe tunic and trousers with fallschirmjager boots still laced up. My prize is the P38 in its original holster and magazine dated 1941. Great videos my friend, please be careful with that ordnance, you don't need to go boom.

that little bottle is cool, wish I'd find like 100 if it is morphine haha
@undergroundsoldierz3824 Жыл бұрын
That Bottle at the end was called a ampoule.. Ampoules are small glass capsules containing varying types of liquid medicines from caffeine and sodium solutions to meralluride and morphine. To use an ampoule, the administer must break the glass at the thin part of the neck and extract the liquid from the capsule with a syringe. They were liked by medics because they were “perfectly” measured to be single dose and allowed for rapid delivery. The ampoules we have here at the Museum are dated circa 1930-1960 and are great examples of the ampoules you would have seen in red cross field hospitals.
