All the boys joined their company as trainees (along with others) between 2010 and 2011, one in 2012. At the end of 2012 they became the definitive members of BTS. His official debut was on June 13, 2013. In all their albums there is participation of members in the composition and lyrics of their songs and they have even participated in production; some have mixtapes, collaborations with other artists and OSTs, and all solo songs. They are the most well-known, successful and influential group in the world. Due to preconceived ideas about what boy bands and Kpop are, there are many who have not dared to know or listen to them, and have even criticized them without knowing anything about them. What they have in common with a boy band is that they are boys who sing and dance; but their choreographies do not fit with the dances of a boy band (some of their choreographies are the most complex in the industry); they have 3 rappers who are the best rap line and their 4 vocalists have wide ranges with different registers and excellent technique. In addition to this, they are not followed only by young girls, Army (their fandom) is made up of people of different nationalities, races, genders, languages, beliefs, ages (from very young to great-grandparents, the majority being over 25). About Kpop, this term actually means Korean popular music, which covers genres like rock, pop, rap, hip hop, EDM, R&B, etc; actually BTS debuted as a hip hop idol group but in the years since their career they have ventured into different genres and even merged them in their songs. In their discography they only have 3 songs in English with which they have left a bit of their style, they also have Japanese (in addition to versions of some of their songs) but most are in Korean. Their songs are deep, they include messages about social problems, injustice, mental health, self-esteem, self-love, empowerment, etc. They have a special way of approaching topics that can sometimes have different approaches based on the person listening to them (or reading their lyrics). On June 10 it will be their comeback and they will become the only group in their industry that in 10 years has released at least one album per year, in which all of its members have participated and without undergoing any change in the lineup.

Heh heh. Be careful when you ask for in the comments. Fans can write a whole tome of information because there is a LOT to understand about them. My quick trivia: I think it's funny when people still call them a boy band. :) The youngest is 25 and they are more of a supergroup of writers, producers, rappers, dancers, actors, directors, vocalists, musicians, and philanthropists.
