I don't know if you've ever heard of Tom MacDonald, but he is an independent Canadian Hip Hop/Rap artist who incorporates a lot of controversial subjects in his songs. I don't even LIKE rap and I listen to his music because - agree or not - he makes you think. That was to say this... You were speaking about the "defund the police" movement. Tom has a great line about that in his song "Fake Woke". It goes: "There's riots in our streets, and it's just getting worse Y'all screaming, "Defund the police", y'all are genius for sure They're underfunded already, they're way too busy to work Order food and call the cops, see what reaches you first"

Love this song too, Toby is the best and Willie, well, legend truly fits. And you are right on about the crime, I'm in the upper mid west of the states and so far it's not gotten too crazy but alot of it goes back to drug related, but the scary part is it's getting where repeat violent felons are given more rights than victims. I've also noticed the violent crimes are being committed by younger and younger kids(either that or maybe I'm getting old) and ,at the risk of being un PC more girls are involved. So many uninvolved parents and alot of single parents with no time don't help. I grew up poor but knew not to be a felon. Anyway, rant over. Thank you for the video and commentary and if anyone here hears any news on Toby's health please comment here, praying for him

Hi Pam, honestly I'm very aware of what's going on in the US. Unfortunately we have the same problem in the UK with knife crime, it's just not reported on as well as gun crime is in the US. FYI, carrying knives is totally banned in the UK which goes to show that banning a 'weapon' does nothing really. Also, I've heard that something happened to Toby, what exactly happened?

Thank you for replying, unfortunately last spring I believe Toby cancelled his tour announced he was taking chemo for stomach cancer, it's been pretty much silence since. Toby has always been an open book and hopefully he's recuperating and staying well

one of the sad things about this song is, they did actually make a movie with this title but that 90 minute movie was nowhere near as good as this 5 minute video. It didn't even use anything like this plot, either, and was kind of trash. But Toby starred in it, so I'll give him a break :)
