As one of your regular viewer who happens to be french this was unexpected :0 This song was super popular when it came out it was on TV and the radio a lot I sometimes revisit it for nostalgia sake haha My recommendation may seem a bit strange but it would be to react to a trio called L.E.J those 3 french woman make mashups (they do all the vocals and music) they recently-ish did one of the 80's music thats dope and an amazing Hip-hop mashup but almost every year they do a Summer [year] mashup all of them are dope, they also have great original songs. Indila's song is really incredible. Her voice is amazing. It's a french song, but there a lot of influences in the music and in her voice. I think France as a lot of influences so it's hard to have a definition of a french style. Music is still universal. It doesn't need to identify borders.

I am not too knowledgeable about her discography, I was always avoiding the radio as much as possible as a young lad, my musical education was made by my mother, my father and my aunt. Hey I'm french so sorry for my English -_-' That was an unexpected reaction and I like Indila songs thanks for this reaction. I also like "S.O.S" or " Love story" like other said from her but another song that I like is "Parle à ta tête" that she did after a long break. For an other artist I like Tarik, he is not a singer but rapper or slam ? I don't really know the difference.>∆< but the lyrics or soooo good and make me cry so many times. He isn't famous as Indila or other french artist but why don't react to him. Maybe you'll like it or not, it's good. The first song that I heard from him is "Mon chéri" by Tarik. I m late to the party but since apparently nobody mentioned that "My sweet suffering" in french , sounds like "my sweet France" as sung by Charles Trainet (Douce France vs Douce souffrance) It adds quite a lot to the meaning of the song considering she s of north african origin....
