There were 2 things that immediately came to mind when I first heard Groin. 1) that monk who betrayed him when he went for a consultation. Remember that conniving bleep-bleep? and 2) the stupid Cancel RM controversy just because of a song he liked. I remember watching him address it on one of his lives and thinking, wow, I've never seen RM this angry. What did he say in the lyrics? I'm not your diplomat. I only rep myself.

My husband actually looked up the exact place in London where RM filmed this, the house he sits outside is being renovated… I actually think being filmed here really makes this stand out even more if that’s possible! I adore you RM!

I love RM. I love his style and flow. He is super intelligent and insightful. I find it a little bittersweet though, knowing he felt such a huge responsibility as the leader of BTS and didn't want to lose his authentic self wearing all the hats he had to when representing the whole group.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who immediately went “that’s England!”. 😂 I lived there for a decade and for some reason I always know when I see England. I can’t even explain it either, I can just tell. Some things are pretty obvious, like your style of windows and houses, but before I saw a house, as soon as RM appeared, somehow just knew it was England. Then I had to look it up to see if I was right. It’s like my intuition of the homeland (as I call it, my ancestors came to America from there) signals to me. I do miss it there, I have to admit. That probably has something to do with it. 💜

This album is really giving vibrations of “I'm doing what I want” and I'm totally in favor of it. Kim Namjoon is taking everything inside him and building such a unique genre. I like how it has become increasingly honest over the years. Although they are required to act in a certain way to feed the illusions of others, only the really brave can refuse. They can withstand hatred and move on and still be themselves. To show the world your light and your dark side. I love it to him. Honesty matches him. Keep your universe expanding RM!

What’s crazy (in a good way) is that so far we’ve had three very different videos, filmed in different places and there’s only one thing we can be sure of, when they were done. He has army (the actual military) hair in all of them and so far he’s had one 2 week leave (they all got the leaves based on when they joined & when they completed basic). So in 2 weeks he did family & friends, photoshoot & interview (at least 1 major mag), planned album promotion and filmed at LEAST three music videos with travel time needed. How many more are there, one, two, none? Are there any other surprises? Can’t wait to find out. He makes excellent use of his time, even with pre-planning he’s gotten a lot done on a “vacation”.

I love how RM is finally expressing himself in different ways from his experiences. I absolutely love these songs and so wish I could purchase it. 11:17 I wish that for you, haha! One day, you look out the window and -- there's RM! 😝 (The red brick wall makes me think of "Billy Elliot" -- great movie!) This song's clearly from that time when BTS were given all those lofty roles, including (temporary) diplomatic passports. At that time, I was actually worried for them -- the higher the pedestal people put them on, the bigger the potential fall. And those were some stratospheric heights they were working at. But I needn't have worried. BTS are humble kings, with their feet firmly planted on the ground. Now, here's RM saying, "I'm no diplomat. I only represent myself" -- nothing disguised there at all. Imagine the pressure they were under to live up to all those expectations, to represent all these causes, to represent South Korea itself, on every level (but they did, and they carried it all so elegantly and with class). RM must have been feeling major imposter syndrome, like, I'm just a dude in a tracksuit on some random residential street, bro -- leave me alone. 😅

Aha! I am not from England but studied there, and I was exactly going like, this is England, innit? Innit?? Imagining him doing this MV - and that typical Adidas track suit worn by "regular guys" there - while those passing by him not knowing who he was ... blows the mind definitely! This is by far my fave track and next is Come Back to Me. Still trying to digest Lost! and waiting for the other MVs to come out to fully experience the other tracks. Not throwing shade at Indigo, and I guess I can safely say this having seen the MiniMoni video ... but somehow Indigo did not resonate with me so much (and RM is my bias!) whereas this album feels more authentic RM / Namjoon. I am glad he made the decision to delay his enlistment so that he can work on this album that feels more authentic RM / Namjoon.
