Guys! Great news! Ollie Kendal just announced on Instagram that they will be attempting to return by the end of April It was on the description of his latest announcement: "Hi guys, I’m really sorry it’s been so so long since an update from me. Honestly, it’s just been a crazy time, and i didn’t want to post again until I actually kind of knew what was going to happen. I just want to let you know that we’re all okay and starting to work on some new content. Hopefully we’ll be coming back on KZbin at the end of April. Thank you so much for waiting patiently for us and for the literally thousands of messages of love and support I’ve received. People mainly seem to be concerned about Brie and Juno and I can confirm that they are both doing well and still best friends, just like their dads. See you soon. X" Edit: Another great news! I don't really comment a lot and I don't know if you guys will ever read this but I just wanted to say your videos really have brought me so much joy. I've been following your channel since around 2018 and every time a new video would come out either Jolly or Korean Englishman I would watch it immediately. If I was having a bad day your videos would make me forget that for a while and if I was having a great day your videos would make it greater. And also I heard they are also getting the police investigation for disobeying the quarantine rules as well. Let me clarify. We Koreans all admit that Josh and other 영국남자 (korean Englishman) crews did more beneficial acts rather than harmful things to Korea. Introducing Korean culture and other aspects of our society to the rest of the world was fascinating and good to see. And we were, and are very thankful about it. However, we all know that we have to consider strictly with our acts in this dark times. All over the world people are struggling to take good care of this unprecedented pandemic situation. And it includes Korea too. But the way Josh behaved in Korea since the past four weeks maybe, has strictly violated the health restrictions which made the Korean public safe and secured from the Coronavirus infection. But not only he violated the rules for self-quarantine, he and his wife (Gabie) is suspected for violating major laws of health insurances and taxes in Korea. This is why Koreans are so angry about this incident. I know that some Koreans are crossing the line of morality, but please think once why they are so mad about it. Thanks for reading my note! ;)

I live in southern Ontario, and we used to go on field trips to maple syrup farms and they would shuffle the entire class through a little cabin one at a time and give us each one of those maple sugar candies. I've never heard of them being put in drinks tho

Maple sugar is maple syrup cooked down until it is solid. A huge treat, since they are so expensive so we only would get a few each year when I was a child.

To answer the debate, Ollie is right: maple sugar is primarily a sweetener, however, I've seen them being sold as candies as well. @@littleripper312 No it's nothing like that at all I happened to come across one of their videos during my attack, as I was trying to calm myself by distracting myself and It really worked. I did also go outside In my garden but it was no help and It felt as if I was gonna die. I did also try some videos to help with sudden panic attacks but It really didn't help me In that moment one bit. But their video for some odd reason really calmed me down but I haven't had a panic attack since then but I wouldn't rely on them as that makes no sense they just helped me calm down in the moment.

Hello, this is Josh here. Firstly I want to apologise for causing disappointment, concern and discomfort to so many of you with the video uploaded on Gabie’s channel last Saturday. I’m sorry this apology comes so late. I am truly sorry to the countless people who have made so much sacrifices to keep us safe, and I am sorry to all of you who are also sacrificing daily to fight this pandemic. I am still reflecting on the gravity of my actions with the deepest regrets. While in self-quarantine after arriving in Korea, I invited a few of Gabie’s friends to drop off gifts at the door and we were careless about quarantine rules while greeting those friends. This was wrong and irresponsible. Realising the fact that I have compromised the incredible efforts that Korea as a country has been putting in for months on end makes my heart ache that much more. I am truly ashamed and truly sorry for failing to uphold and support these efforts. After making the difficult decision to come to Korea, my irresponsible actions have caused damage and distress to the Korean Englishman team, and to all of you who have shown me love, so much more than I deserve. I have disappointed all of you who have shown me support and care all these years, and I can’t express how deeply sorry I am. Going forward, I will be taking some time so that I can fully reflect on your comments and thoughts. I will also step back from content creation, and spend this time to truly self-reflect, until I can stand before you as a better version of myself. I am truly sorry for letting you all down, and disappointing you with my careless actions. Josh

By the way, the little maple candies are meant to be eaten the way they are like Josh said, but you suck on them and let taste slowly dissolve in your mouth rather than biting them. The taste can be a little intense, but I think they're great😅. Maple sugar is a thing, lol. It is basically the sap from the maple tree boiled for a longer time than it takes to make maple syrup. So the maple syrup, maple butter, and maple sugar candies I sent are all made directly from boiling the maple tree sap. 🍁 Thanks so much for bring me so much happiness. You are the BEST! ✨ (P.S: To Canadian Jollybeans saying I should have sent Coffee Crisp and Ketchup chips, I did send them but there were so many snacks I think it was hard for Josh and Ollie to choose which ones to include in the video😉)

There are soft maple sugar candies too. I actually like them better. I think the flavour is more intense. I tend to think of the hard ones as having gone stale. I do like the other kind of maple hard candies though.

Thank you for explaining the maple sugar! I was wondering if they were right saying it should be dissolved in coffee 😂 I think a lot of hard or traditional sweeties that are like 100% sugar are super intense. E.g. Scottish tablet, Werther's originals etc. Very much have to be prepared for them 😄

I’m sure someone’s already covered this however in case they haven’t, maple syrup and maple sugar begin as the sap from the sugar maple tree. It gets boiled down and at one stage will evaporate enough water content to be the syrup consistency, and if you keep boiling it down will be left with maple butter which is really just grainy super thick maple syrup that you can spread on toast, and if you keep going with it the maple will then be able to turn into a powdered consistency. Maple sugar is pretty much maple butter that’s been allowed to dry in the maple leaf shape.

Honestly, all this hate needs to stop. Everyone makes mistakes as we are all humans. For those who have hate twords them... If you have never made a mistake in your life then keep hating but if you have, you are also human and wouldnt want so much hate twords you for your mistakes so just forgive. @@yiklongtay6029 Korean here, if you go to their main channel (korean englishman), the most recent community post's first comment summarizes korean's people position pretty well. I think what most Koreans want is just a honest apology, but what Josh and Gabie has given us feel inadequate in a number of ways. Most of us are not trying to just condemn them, but offer criticism. I really hope they come back, I have enjoyed their content for years.
