Indonesia is pretty wild tbh. I remember back in elementary school, there are people selling these tiny hermit crabs as pets, even chicks and small fishes. And they're selling them on the side of the street, right outside of the school gate. Too bad most of them died a horrible death because they're bought by kids who had no idea how to feed and take care of them.

I did check with a Latin teacher colleague, however, and Helvetica is actually an adjective form that equates to "Swiss". Here's what my colleague shared with me: "The Helvetii were a Celtic people who migrated from southern Germany to the region which is today Switzerland in about 200 BCE. From their name comes the adjective Helveticus-a-um, "of or connected with the Helvetii." Ovomaltine and Caotina spreads are hands down the best chocolate-hazelnut spreads I've ever tried. Nutella doesn't even come close. And the Swiss don't use palm oil, that's another Swiss flag aka big plus.

OVOMALTINE crunchy spread is like very popular souvenir it has its own momentum among Indonesians who travel to Singapore or any places abroad that sells it 😍😍😍 and now that product is almost everywhere here in some supermarkets, and we can even find a variety of local street food desserts using this spread as one of the menu. This, along with KitKat and Toblerone.

Fun fact: Ovoltine (the powder for drinks) is called Ovomaltine in many countries and it's only called Ovoltine in others due to a grammatical error when the brand was registered in those countries, it started in the UK and then possible due to it being exported from the UK to those other countries, the name stayed.

Kägi-fret are delicious. Anyone who doesn't know them - the wafers are like crunchy and baked air and the chocolate is very subtle and thin. If you bite into them they literally melt on your tongue. The original is unbeatable, but the dark chocolate ones are also very good. Anyone who wants to travel to Switzerland, Germany or Austria has to try them - they are sold everywhere there.

Hey guys, in Switzerland, there is also Ovomaltine Croissant!! It's lke pain au chocolate but the filling is Ovomaltine! Also there are ovomaltine cookies, chocolate, milkshake, etc. Definitely worth trying!

Ovaltine very popular drink in south east asia like sg, malay, indonesia in 70's and then milo kind of overtaking it as hot drinks but then ovomaltine crunchy came in around 2014 and became so popular. Personally my fams prefer to drink ovaltine than milo but never say no if vendors only offered milo in their menu...well it's chocolate flavour. Fact : Ragusa is brand of old ice cream store in jakarta from 1930

Yeees swiss snacks are here! I saw the Kägi on the wall of fame during the mexican snacks video so I was excited to see you try my country's food! I just went to Switzerland with my family, and we too were shocked by all the ovaltine products, so on the last day there we went to the supermarket and bought a box of ovaltine sachets, two ovaltine chocolate bars, and even ovo rocks. we still haven't even made a dent in most of our supply lol

I live in USA. My husband was sent to Liechtenstein for training for 3 weeks, years ago now. He literally bought another suitcase and filled 1/2 with Swiss Chocolates to bring home! His company would send a huge basket/box of Lindt candy to our home for Christmas and his employment anniversary! How I wish he still worked for them! Swiss chocolate is the absolute best!

Here in Brazil we also love ovomaltine and we have a lot of things with ovomaltine flavour, like chocolate bars, cakes, ice cream and also the same cream that you guys tried! :)

Goodness, I didn't know Le Parfait was Swiss. I was in hospital for ED and MH reasons for half a year in 2022 and we had Le Parfait for every breakfast and every dinner. It was unavoidable. Some people used to collect them and sold them online. Thank you, Switzerland, for my daily nutrition in hospital. xD

오보말틴 진짜 핵존맛입니다! 유럽 살때 스위스 친구들 추천으로 먹었는데... 오보말틴 스프레드가 레알 맛있어요. 굳이 비교하자면 크런치라는 초콜렛을 발라먹는 느낌인데, 안에 그 부스러기들이 더 작은 느낌? 독일이나 스위스 사는 친구들에게 부탁해서 한국 들어올 때 늘 부탁했던 건데... 요새 한국에서 가격은 좀 나가지만 구매대행도 되더라구요!
