Indonesia is pretty wild tbh. I remember back in elementary school, there are people selling these tiny hermit crabs as pets, even chicks and small fishes. And they're selling them on the side of the street, right outside of the school gate. Too bad most of them died a horrible death because they're bought by kids who had no idea how to feed and take care of them.

Fun Facts: The Helvetii, a Celtic tribe who battled Julius Caesar, gave their name to the Swiss territory ... Helvetica, which was later used for the font. "Helvetica, or Neue Haas Grotesk, is a widely used sans-serif typeface developed in 1957 by Swiss typeface designer Max Miedinger with input from Eduard Hoffmann. Helvetica is a neo-grotesque design, one influenced by the famous 19th century typeface Akzidenz-Grotesk and other German and Swiss designs." ... all Wikipedia sourced.

To be fair I was thinking that isn’t it Helvetia rather then helvetica because the c was added to differentiate it from the country
@richardbeebe83983 жыл бұрын
@@jamesmcallister1720 ... good catch. I should not have been relying on my decades-old Latin classes when I posted. I did check with a Latin teacher colleague, however, and Helvetica is actually an adjective form that equates to "Swiss". Here's what my colleague shared with me: "The Helvetii were a Celtic people who migrated from southern Germany to the region which is today Switzerland in about 200 BCE. From their name comes the adjective Helveticus-a-um, "of or connected with the Helvetii." The noun Helvetia, a name for the region settled by the Helvetii, doesn't appear until later, in early medieval Latin.” Swiss coins today bear a Latin phrase for the Swiss Federation: Foederatio Helvetica

I have never cried so much watching a KZbin video as I did when Ollie tried the Swiss Marmite. I'm still laughing. Thank you for the joy.
